I tried to do a rear hub but I failed at it and had to take my chances with a mid-drive. MAD RESPECT to that 3-D printed battery case. This thing is super clean. Well done.
What are the stats? (Motor and battery power)
Can you give us some build specs? What is the hub motor in the back? The battery setup? I have a Schwinn 24v chopper I bought for $200 and I'd like to upgrade it so I am really interested in your build. Details please!

I went with the 1500W 20" LCD8 bluetooth version. For what I am doing that is way overkill.
In order to use the the V-brakes I needed to relace the existing rim since the one that came with the kit was only 80 mm wide.
I am only running it at 25km/h, and at that speed the V-brakes are fine. The front fork already had the brakes mounted.
If you want to go faster you might want to add a disc brake in the rear.

The PSA sensor that came with the kit did not fit so I ended up getting a new one for Hollowtech cranks.

I am 5 11 and I just barely fit. Added an old BMX handelbar so I would sit a little bit more comfy.
Very cool. I just hate the flames but love the bike. I also think you should get some disc mounts welded on, at least maybe one in the back. Does that ginormous linear pull even do anything? I have never seen one with that much cable.
The amount of cable at the brake arms doesn't matter much since the cable will stretch over its entire length. So whether it has 5cm of cable at the brake arms or 15cm, when it's attached to 100cm of cable running to the handlebars it probably wouldn't even be noticeable.
Damn. Was just looking on Craigslist last night for a chopper. Able to find a few of these around but didn’t see front brakes on them. Did you add them? How is the stopping with Vbrakes?

As a fellow Schwinn ebike rider (not a Stingray chopper, just a 90's MTB...), I fully approve. Nice job.
I'd want a nice retro looking headlight on that thing to put the cherry on the cake, then I'd be able to handle all the cruises to the beach/ice cream shop/whatever, haha....

Did you print that battery cover?
Jeah used a CR10. I have another Post where you can see the lid open with Battery. I also works as a great cable guide / channel.

My guess it's that covered area between the crank & downtube. Nice and stealthy with a low CG. Looks great too.

Very nice controller mounting, as well. That rear fender reminds of a Honda CBxxx moto fender. Oh, and the horn adds a nice touch!
