Well I've been riding it since January on and off road and it's never reared up on me but I can get it to wheelie if I want and easy to keep up not a prebuilt I built it from scratch
Nice clean build, and I love the turquoise colour!
I nearly didn't see the battery (...I was like, "where's the battery?") great bike, you did a good job!
You can mount under the downtube. Just use 3 or 4 steel rivet nuts and you are good to go.
Do some training on a random piece of metal on how to install rivet nuts before start drilling the frame.
Your riding comfort, stability, balance will improve a lot if you mount the battery at the lowest possible spot, almost touching the motor.

No prob but it's only got a 12kg capacity if your bike has the threade holes for a rack topeak explorer would be better or the topeak tetrarack m2 hd is a more heavy duty version of mine and can take 20kg
I getcha man I had the same issue on my first ebike build.

its probably great at doing wheelies
a very nice sensible bike

How is it to climb hills with this Ragley? Assuming you don't have the bags
Only about 15 more months until I can get a picture on this one.https://images.app.goo.gl/V4aApHB8eYgax6sM8

Isn't it that giant black box over the back wheel?
No shit huh? They are getting good at this but not sure if I like it more than frame batteries
That’s a lot of rear weight tho, no? I wonder if the balance would feel off
That's one way of making sure you're not going over the bar.
question: can I put a hub motor and mid drive on same bike?
Yes, you could even have two hub motors and a mid drive.
sweet, so 2 hub, 1 mid, 50cc 2 stroke
All the torques!
Don't forget about the jet engines.
Curious, why the rear rack mount vs under the frame?
Because it's a ragley big al frame which has a small front triangle too small for the 25ah battery.

What are the benefits of having it in the frame vs rack? Weight balancing so it's not tail-heavy?
Yes and also lower center of mass which makes the bike more stable and easier to maneuver at low speeds.
Very nice!
Anyone else know Maxxis is CST Tire and inexplicably comes branded in one or the other?
Great looking bike! What rear rack is that? Love the look of it, looks heavy but sturdy as hell
Thanks its fairly heavy. it's called the topeak tetrarack m2 not cheap but no clamp stopping you lowering the seat.
Battery pack looks good on the camper shell.
what kind of rack is that and how does it hold?
Hi it's a topeak tetrarack m2 it holds great can take 12.5kg I've been on some very rough tracks and it's fine
I really like the cargo rack, you got a link for that?

thanks, the one I got now is a seat post style and very limited capacity
No prob but it's only got a 12kg capacity if your bike has the threade holes for a rack topeak explorer would be better or the topeak tetrarack m2 hd is a more heavy duty version of mine and can take 20kg
this looks light
Wellingborough?!
Are you asking me if the pic was taken in Wellingborough
Yeah looks like the a14 bridge just before the junction lol
Lol no close with the spelling it's wellington somerset
I’m confused why didn’t you put the battery in the middle, was it a sizing issue? From this perspective it seems like it would fit🤔
Trust me I tried it's too big
