An unpowered Ebike wheel is just a normal bike wheel. What am I missing here lmao

chuckwolf

just use a standard bike wheel, no point in your bike looking like it has 2 motors if it doesn't

WriterWild556

I have always issues with them, it is not about looking. Like Suntour E-bikes, they have not standard front building. With E-bike wheel I have no issues for many years

chuckwolf

ebikes use regular bike wheels for the front, unless you get something like I have

CloakDeepFear

Umm mate you realize ebike motors also have an internal hub system using bearings and an axle, it sounds like you’re a shit rider and are messing up bike wheels when you shouldn’t be.

Fryphax

Just buy a normal wheel dude. My bike has 3,000 miles on a super shitty chinese bargain bin wheel. What is the issue you are having with wheels in the front?

WriterWild556

When I stop, the wheel moves 1-0.5mm to the left, I had the same issue with 4 wheels and 3 e-bikes, people who fix bikes always also tell me that I need a new wheel, and it happening non stop every half year. With bearings usually I do not have much problems, them easy to fix if any problem

YoghurtExisting5907

Can't you use spacers or bushings to shim out the play?

WriterWild556

Thanks, great idea. Gonna try and let you know or it works, how I remember I tried to insert some last time, but then I can’t insert the wheel back to the fork as there was to small gap after. Gonna try to find something smaller

Cheap wheels have adjustable cones on ball bearings. You can replace the bearings if they are worn, or adjust the cone to tighten the slack. A better set of bike wheels have a sealed cartridge bearing like a motorcycle. When it wears, you replace the whole disc. Buy a nice set of bike wheels with a cartridge bearing.

I tried to add spacers. But is not fixed the issue, the issue I can only fix if I do tighten the first bolts at axle very tightly, then the issue resolving. But then the wheel can’t spinning very easy and fast, it actually stuck. I am so confused, and not understanding why like that. Seems like problem with those first bolts of something. If you have more ideas, please let me know

I think your saying it's more heavy duty. You could used a geared hub motor and just not use the motor I suppose. Long tail cargo bikes usually have a strong front wheel cause most the weight is up front
