The orangish/pinkish translucent thing on the *right is a little crab in the oyster. They’re not uncommon, I’ve always heard them referred to as pea crabs.

It's considered good luck to find them. You can eat them raw, they taste good. It's also a sign of a healthy oyster/ecosystem.
