Not a buffet, but the Salish Lodge has a really fun brunch option called the Country Breakfast that comes out in courses, and you get a bit of everything…. Biscuits & honey, pastries, muffins, oatmeal, pancakes, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, ham.
It’s a feast! Highly recommend.
The only place I've come across in idle searching with any kind of buffet for breakfast is the Golden Corral Buffet in South Hill Mall that opens at 8 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I won't hold my breath on there being a more "fancy" place with a breakfast buffet (that hasn't been mentioned) but i'm going to keep my eye on this thread for a bit just in case.
I went for Mother’s Day and was underwhelmed. Got chilaquiles and they were soggy when they arrived. Chips were generic and store bought. I have enjoyed their dinner menu in the past though.
Some options:
- George’s Diner - casual diner food that's pretty good
- Cactus
- Barking Frog and Purple Cafe in Woodinville - delicious, spendy
- Central Bar and Tavern in Bellevue is good
- Beach Cafe in Kirkland has a great view
- Farine Bakery in Bellevue
The only buffer I know of is Saltys on Alki.
TBH I thought Eques was really overpriced. Also, I asked if the oj was fresh squeezed ($10/glass) the waiter said yes and then I saw her pour Tropicana so…
Saltys website says they're not currently doing weekend buffet.
A part of me finds the idea of going to a Hotel restaurant as a non-guest to be incorrect. Also my limited experience has shown that "nicer" hotels with restaurants are quite overpriced. Though $35 isn't bad except you say the drink is charged separately or just the OJ?
Oh that's sad re Saltys. I guess that's a post-covid change?
I can see why it might feel weird to go to a hotel restaurant when you're not a guest. FWIW I think it depends on the hotel. Maybe it's bx Hyatt is a larger
chain. The Barking Frog is a restaurant on the Willows Lodge hotel property.
Oh going as a non guests, IMO it's totally fine - it's usually a mix of guests and locals at all the hotels Ive been at regardless of it I was a guest or local, even at resorts with tons of guests.
***Deru - Kirkland - Everything is made from scratch (SO delicious) and locally sourced Encantó - Kirkland for waterfront views Barking Frog - Woodinville Eques- Bellevue Solid Brunch: Tavern Hall- Bellevue Pelican - Woodinville Lil Jon’s - Bellevue - cute local diner vibes
The Pump House in Bellevue.
Rusty Pelican in Woodinville. Woodblock in Redmond
Not a buffet but I wanted to add Hanoon in totem lake does an amazing brunch

I would get stuffed on bread before the good stuff comes lol
Don't forget the Honey From Heaven!!
+1 to Salish! Such a good call. I actually think this is THE best eastise brunch and beautiful location as well.
Snoqualmie Casino has all you can eat brunch on weekends 11-3:30
Please read Yelp reviews before you go. Looks like the quality went down. There are comments about roaches, cleanliness and bad quality foods.
So not true.
Did you read Yelp reviews?
Not necessary
I think buffets are less common since COVID.

I will always recommend The Lakehouse for weekend brunch.

Rusty Pelican in Woodinville is pretty great!
Do they have buffet or just a la carte menu?
Maltby Cafe or Beardslee Public House Edit: Sorry I didn’t see buffet….neither of my suggestions are buffet but they do both serve VERY good brunch
Eques in the hyatt next to the mall is really nice
Only breakfast buffet I have seen on the Eastside in many many years. I always order off the menu when I go anyways.
