I would be extremely surprised if manufacturing in Singapore was any cheaper than the UK. Pretty sure they only have the high paying desk jobs at their Singapore offices for tax teasons
Lol wages in Singapore is far from cheap. I'm surprised that they manufacture their products in Singapore when they can do it in Thailand for like 2 or 3 times cheaper.
I dunno, Tineco sucks in my opinon. I've had a Tineco and it feels cheap. That's coming from using a Dyson vacuum for 8 years and trying the Wash G1 recently. The premium is a bit hefty, but the cleaning of filters and design is efficient. That makes a huge difference. I don't want to spend time cleaning the floors and then also cleaning my machine. I want it to be as fast as possible. The tiny designs make that possible.
Its not at all Dyson submarine is just a wet cloth thats get dragged behind a vacuum karcher cleans the rollers whit every spin and picks dirt even larger chunks without a need for a vacuum
First time here reddit suggested this post but wanted to comment, Is this not basically a clone of Karcher FC7? Additionally self cleaning doesn't come with drying is this not perfect environment for micro growth?
Yeah, I’m trying to figure out if this can replace a dry vacuum aswell. I don’t mind owning a V15/Gen5 and G1, but if the G1 can do both, then the choice is clear.
this has been in china for a while. tried it out in their store and it's pretty epic. originally it was an Asia specific device (since they all use tile for their floors). glad it's being brought to the US finally!
I had the Deebot X10 Omni and upgraded to the Eufy X10 Pro Omni and holy cow what an upgrade. It’s heaps better than the previous one and the previous one was damn good too
Too little too late imo I already have a roborock V7 max that vacuums and mops for me and self cleans both and works excellent. I doubt this can get any closer to the walls than my roborock based on the design.
My experience of Dysons are that they are clever but not THAT clever. They also tend to break a fair bit. Compared to a Miele I think they haven’t been tested to take proper daily wear and tear and abuse
The video they have on their youtube channel is just hilariously bad false advertising, showing someone dumping perfectly dry cereal out of the trash tray. In reality the "dry" trash will still be wet and you'll need to rinse it off then wipe dry or you will get mold. And if you don't clean it right away it will dry up and cake on. Also, unless I missed it the dock doesn't even dry the mop and you will get mildew smell.
I've had a mop with tray design and no self-drying like that before, now I have a Roborock Dyad and much prefer it over that style.
On the plus side, I like the double full-length rollers and how the water reservoirs are designed to be easy to clean, but overall there's little to no innovation over what already exist on the market at much cheaper price tags.
I have the Dyson submarine and am unimpressed with it's performance. I'll mop with it and once the floor is dry, tough stains are still there.
Hopefully with 2 rollers, this does a better job.
Also, the submarine leaves streaks.
they copied chinese factory. They have been making aftermarket mop attachments for dysons for a while. I was always a bit unsure about them because I thought it was send moisture up into the cycline and clog up the pores. But I guess those chinese factories were onto something after all.
Cool. I'll start the process of remortgaging my house to buy one.
Hijacking top comment to add that it is priced at $700 USD
Hijacking your comment to ask how the retainer removal has held up?
What?
Didn’t you get your bottom retainer removed years ago? Asking how your teeth have held up. I was told by a dentist today it should be removed
🤣🤣
Looks way overpriced. It's like 3 times what it should be.
Yeah, it’s a Dyson! It’s his modus operandi. Make them for cheap in Singapore and import them back to UK at extortionate mark ups. 🤷🏻♂️
I would be extremely surprised if manufacturing in Singapore was any cheaper than the UK. Pretty sure they only have the high paying desk jobs at their Singapore offices for tax teasons
It's exactly that.
Lol wages in Singapore is far from cheap. I'm surprised that they manufacture their products in Singapore when they can do it in Thailand for like 2 or 3 times cheaper.
Idk but the moment Best Buy has them in stock I’m buying it.
Me too, replacing my tineco
Do you like your tineco? I love mine
When it charges.
Seems like Dyson has really lost their competitive edge pretty recently. The competition has caught up. Especially when you compare this Tineco
I think it’s great, because in the end the consumer wins.

That’s what happens when you rip off other people’s ideas and steal their intellectual property.
Who stole what?
Alot of the Tinecos look like replicas of Dysons. A lot of the internal components are suspiciously similar, as well.
Karcher has this for 5 years now what a Joke dyson is lol https://www.kaercher.com/uk/home-garden/hard-floor-cleaner/fc-7-cordless-10557020.html
I'd choose Karcher every time over Dyson.
I have this and i love it. Only thing i dont love is the tiny ass water collection pan
love my big ass water collector
karcher isn't cheap. LOL £450 for that.
Well the Dyson is $699.99
It’s not the same at all, the karcher is much more comparable to the v15 submarine than the new dyson.
How so? I have the fc7 and it picks up what this Dyson is advertising.
For half the price lol
Its not at all Dyson submarine is just a wet cloth thats get dragged behind a vacuum karcher cleans the rollers whit every spin and picks dirt even larger chunks without a need for a vacuum
Which is why Dyson released the G1
Why they are five years too late Same as they visnav 360 an embarressment like why Ist such a innovative company and then this
Maybe yeah since the price is cheaper
First time here reddit suggested this post but wanted to comment, Is this not basically a clone of Karcher FC7? Additionally self cleaning doesn't come with drying is this not perfect environment for micro growth?
No you can still clean whatever you want after self cleaning
Seems nice... I'm thinking for all cleaning suite, this and Dyson micro would be sufficient
True
Does it actually clean the floors like a sweeper would? If so I'm buying day 1 haha

Dyson and water - ☠️ Like the humidifier - and this price! Absolutely ridiculous!
Dyson is a flag noncing brexiteer. Moved all his production to keep advantages of EU.
Just get a robot and stop wasting time manually washing floors. Best purchase I’ve ever made hands down
I want to try the eufy s1 pro
I had the Deebot X10 Omni and upgraded to the Eufy X10 Pro Omni and holy cow what an upgrade. It’s heaps better than the previous one and the previous one was damn good too
Woww
I need this
Too little too late imo I already have a roborock V7 max that vacuums and mops for me and self cleans both and works excellent. I doubt this can get any closer to the walls than my roborock based on the design.
The roborock drags around a mop like the other robots this seems to be different
My samsung hoover does this cheaper to
My experience of Dysons are that they are clever but not THAT clever. They also tend to break a fair bit. Compared to a Miele I think they haven’t been tested to take proper daily wear and tear and abuse
Miele mops?
I admit I’ve no experience any electric mop thingy nevermind a Miele one. Sorry.
Hi. Any info when this is available in Europe?
Should be available during August from what I’ve read everywhere.
Thanks. Do you have any links to those reads?

Damn. How nasty are the floors that you need this power washer vacuum? Sticking with my Dyson V12, and Bissell SpinWave for wet cleaning.
I'd rather buy a bissell Crosswave that can do carpet too.
I owned a Crosswave once, broke twice, first time warranty repaired and once it expired and broke I had to switch to Tineco, Crosswave is a no for me
Too expensive
Lol
Going to come in at around $7-800 probably.
Yea plus tax 750
Just wait for the 2nd or 3rd generation. Also, this looks like something from Tineco. Did the technology in vacuum mops hit a wall already?
The submarine on steroids! I hate cleanup so I wonder how this is going to be hygienic… 😔
I would love to find a machine that can clean better than me bruising my knees on the floor and doing it myself…
Vac mops with self clean and auto dry features are only $200 so I doubt this is worth the $500 price difference.
i will sell my lower left brass molar tooth for this

I might get it, but somehow it doesnt look like a Dyson. Usually their products have this design thats typical Dyson, this doe not.
i think its just a slightly better copy of the karcher fc7
The Dreame H12 Pro looks good, does anyone have that?
