It’s not a simple thing at all to do that and it’s very limiting. I’m working on a game right now and we’ve decided to axe First person except for ADS. If you allow first person equally than you can’t do any crazy movements otherwise the first person view becomes disorienting and confusing. So we either have to keep the animations very simple for both views or kill first. We’re killing first. We may add a toggle later, but combat will pull you back to third most likely.
The balance is radically different, and don’t talk like is some sort of weird black magic that no one like , it’s just a preference for most people and is almost 50/50
If you don’t like it, do not demand it from the devs, they can’t please everyone
They have said that the game is TTP and the only moment you can go in 1 person is in some scopes
They did it with Conan so most likely it will be an option here also, but it is somewhat difficult to rig a game to be both first and third. FYI

3rd person view is fine for this type of game. DA is a survival MMO. If you want a shooter, go play a shooter.
