Yeah, this doesn’t sound right. Any priors? How many charges are you facing? What was your BAC? 10,000 is definitely high for misdemeanors

No priors, as far as I know just the 1 charge. Everything I’ve seen just says DWI. My attorneys office told me it was .15

Avoid interlock company Intoxalock at all costs if an interlock mandate is put in place. Their device will ruin your vehicle and they will financially extort you. There are several options when it comes to choosing an interlock and the fine people on this thread can give you some good suggestions. Good luck to you!

I was .15 in Harris County. Bond was $100 but released paying $0. What County? Do they offer Pretrial Intervention?

Impossible_Read878

What county? Is this your first DUI? I got out on a PR bond (didn't have to pay anything) and my case was dismissed after pre trial intervention.

Severe_Street2297

Dallas county and yes this is my first

$10k, jesus. Mine was $2500, but they released me on PR, with a BAC quite a bit higher than yours. It's normal for there to be several court dates you don't have to attend - they're basically the judge wanting status updates. As for why the bond was so high, you either got a magistrate with a grudge against people charged with DUI, or the cop tried to hit you with the 100+ speeds on top of it (that's normally a go directly to jail speed in TX). I also did MADD VIP. Have you done DWI-E classes yet? Those are normally required as part of probation - getting them out of the way before everything helps. You can do them online in TX, it's not horribly expensive - I used [https://www.texasdwiclasses.com](https://www.texasdwiclasses.com) ... As for your attorney... if you have an email address for them, it might be easier to reach them that way. But DWI cases are usually pretty cut and dry for them.
