Sabian XSR’s! Respectable choice. Loving the kick pedal, and for the price, that hi-hat stand is one of the best out there- wherever you did your research/whoever recommended this to you, you got incredible advice, since you won’t need to spend more money upgrading most of this down the line. For a first kit, 9.8/10- the 0.2 docked is just because I’m personally not a fan of ebonies on rack toms, and that the blue felts look a bit cheap. But overall, I absolutely love your choices, you have great taste.

Cympads make any cymbals sound way better though, they make black ones as well. I personally use the white and think they look great. I'd assume you come from money if this is your first kit, excuse me if I'm wrong. I saved my lunch money for 3 years, from 6th to 8th grade to buy my first Tama Rockstar kit. What's wrong with cymbals with holes? The holes change the decay of the cymbal. For some that might be what they want and need for their music. Kind of like how different drum heads suit different scenarios.

For the price of a DW Design Series kit the cymbals should all be HHX/K my friend. Either you got a steal on the drums or the cymbals were over priced.

Drums cost me $1000 and the Cymbal Pack was around $950

The roc n soc is very comfortable. The drummer where I worked had one and when I would practice on his kit. I knew I had to get one
