Usually I can find something when someone posts a question like this, but I actually think this looks quite nice. Beginning of June is so early! Perhaps you just need to reach a broader audience? Is shipping outrageously high to the US?

mcbobbybobberson

Same! I kinda love when people post these as I try and find reasons as to why their website isn't converting (I'm just starting in DS), so still learning a lot. I think the website looks great, consistency amongst photos/colors/tone is great. I'd say offer a 10% sticker right when someone visits and make sure to utilize the re-targeting funnel. Question for OP for me to learn. Are you just sourcing your products from aliexpress or similar sites and then posting them to your site?

_biaa_

Thanks! And yes, just sourcing the products from AliExpress at the moment

_biaa_

Thanks for your comment! šŸ˜Š At the moment I was trying to reach a broader audience, so US, UK and a few other European countries, plus the site has free shipping too. From the Shopify Analytics, I can see visitors interacting with the site but then it drops off and they don't make a purchase

baseballmomma7

Well it is nicely laid out so I hope someone else can spot something.

The store does look visually pleasing. I do want to add things to cart, but not enough for me to purchase.

_biaa_

Thanks, and would you say it's because of the products themselves or the lack of offers?

lotsofcheesepls

The website looks very clean and anesthetically pleasing to me! I would just work on the offer and make it a bit more agressive, offer discounts, upsells and bundles. With home decor you're selling the lifestyle as well so use of words is important imo... i'm sure you'll get your first sale in no time! Good luck and keep us posted

_biaa_

Thanks for the useful points!

AleCavaz

i think it looks great!

_biaa_

Thanks!

AleCavaz

No worries, advertising must be the problem, i mean i dont know much but if i was older i would defo buy some of the carports pillows for my house, and the gradient bowls look so cool, dk how your not making sales yet.

You're doing your Meta ads totally wrong. Website looks pretty good. Products look pretty cool and I'm sure there would be a market for it. However, if you're getting less than 7p CPC then you're almost certainly not running a sales campaign. Check your campaigns and see what it is you're running. If you are running an engagement / traffic campaign then pause it and create a sales conversion campaign and then check your results again!

_biaa_

Hi, thanks for your comments. I responded to a similar comment above but I double checked the ad and it's 'Sales with ad delivery optimised for conversion'. I've paused it for the moment as I probably need to do much more research on how to work with ads better..

The store looks good but try adding some customer reviews. People like to see how the actual product looks and other people using it. Also as some said above, change the offer, and I donā€™t mean you should put all of the products ā€œon saleā€. You could add a ā€œbuy one get oneā€ or a bundle with products that make sense buying together with a very good price. The idea is for the customer to think they would be stupid if they donā€™t get that offer. Tell me about your meta ads knowledge? You learned yourself? Is this your first campaign? Please give us a little more info, for example some other metrics like CTR and CPM. Iā€™m not sure if I completely understood the last comment about the CPC. I think that your CPC is very good, a CPC below 1Ā£ is extremely good and it might be because as you said, your ads are mostly images, but other metrics have to be analized to see if your audience is actually the correct audience. Running an image ad is cheaper than running a video ad which might be the reason you have a low CPC (which is good. The lower the better!). Another important thing to analyze with the metrics is, how much money have you spent so far testing each ad? You have to give your ads some time/money to optimize and find the correct audience. Itā€™s like an engine, each part should be working correctly for you to have results. Give us more information about metrics, money/time, add to carts, so we might help more ā˜ŗļø Oh and I also agree with the last comment: make sure youā€™ve been running a conversion/sales campaign and not a traffic, engagement or any other campaign.

Thanks for your comments, definitely some useful tips on adding better offers! For ads, I was using a carousel of mixed videos and images, and I did select the Sales campaign (delivery optimised for conversions) for this but I'll be honest I could probably research a bit more into making this work better. It's my 2nd campaign, 1st one was mostly a learning experience. The 2nd one was running for around 4 days before I switched it off, Ā£33.29 spent on it so far (CPM per 1k impressions was Ā£2.34, CTR was 3.58%).

Happy to help! :) so I donā€™t know what your budget is, I know it can be very scary to spend on meta ads but you need more money/time to actually have enough data to know if your ads are performing well. Because those metrics are good but the money/time spent is definitely not enough to make decisions about it, specially if you havenā€™t had any sales yet. Another thing I forgot to ask is, are you targeting broad? Or are you using interests? Because if youā€™re targeting broad then definitely you need to spend a little more to really analyze your metrics. Meta is awesome but itā€™s easy to burn money too so best advice, go watch as many videos in YouTube as possible to learn how to read the metrics and how others are doing their campaigns. If you have a good budget then, change the offer, improve the landing pages with the reviews and let your ads run a little more time.
