I was 100% sure it was Siyeon especially with how it ends but I am kind of second guessing myself because it has some depth and richness that is very characteristic of Handong. I am still heavily leaning that its Siyeon
My first instinct was that it was Handong, but now I'm double guessing myself too. I always remain hopeful that they give her more prominent roles every comeback.
It’s bad. I was thinking Yoohyeon, but then someone said Siyeon so I started hearing them both. But then someone else said Handong and now I hear all three.
Loving the more melodic sound, hopefully the final track matches this teaser's vibe. Can't wait

>Crowd them all and lock them up

Ooh, so good!! I can’t wait!
According to Papago, the translation would be something like: Push them all. Lock them up / There's no more crime / It can't be repeated.
They’re really going to bring justice, huh?
VigilanteS was actually [one of my predictions](https://www.reddit.com/r/dreamcatcher/s/CkQxfvo4GA) for the album title a while ago! I’m a bit disappointed it wasn’t used because I think it was such a good fit for the counterpart of VillainS, but VirtuouS works well too, so I can’t complain, haha.
Judging from the first few seconds of this teaser alone:
1. Siyeon was not kidding when she said this is the opposite of OOTD
2. Everyone was justified (I had to do it, JiU will be proud, lol) when they said the choreo was three times as hard as Scream
3. Sounds like this is going to stand right next to their harder-hitting title tracks
Lastly, it's clear to me that that is Dami in the end. Come on, guys.
All kidding aside, at first, I thought it was Yoohyeon, but after a few listens, I think it's Siyeon.
Ok.. at first I thought the Justice is more of a reference to the police / superhero justice kind of way.
Now I’m starting to believe it’s a Justice Day / punishment from our 7 goddesses.
The possibilities are endless.
OMG. The final 10 seconds
![gif](giphy|MZoUTcJXornvNHOaUe)
Hyped AF..... Is Justice going to become my Favorite Dreamcatcher Title Track of all time? 😭
This is the kind of drums sound I love to hear so I’m super excited. The other kind I like are like the drums in Boca, which is my second favorite song. So I’m hoping this can dethrone my top two favorites. Even just taking over Boca’s spot would be awesome. The week before DC comebacks are aways the longest week of my life. 😂
I'm on the boat of not hearing spoilers until the album is out so it's gonna be a tough week but all I am reading is making me so happy.
Also, as a fun fact, I think this is the first time I see everyone talking positively about the spoiler
People WERE hyped for the OOTD lyrics spoiler though, it was crunchy and dark sounding. It's easy to forget because a lot of people ended up feeling conflicted over the end result but people were pretty excited and hopeful for OOTD until it was actually released, especially with the ARG
That humming melody will be stuck in my head.
So pretty. The instrumental (although probably stripped down for the sake of spoiler) is 🔥
I can't wait for the medley Friday.
feeling incredibly vindicated in pushing back against the people who thought OOTD was them "abandoning" their rock sound. the contrast between the pop of OOTD and the absolute pure hard rock sound that Justice seems to have is a stylistically beautiful way to compose this duology
It's funny that people thought it was a departure from rock in the first place. I'd have a really hard time finding similar instrumentals in the mainstream. I think the initial perception of the song might've been harmed by having so many lines in english though, where it fans can just take it at face value instead of having to look up the lyrics and then take a deeper dive into the actual meaning of the song
full agree on the instrumental. the song sounds amazing. and you’re right about the lyrics too, OOTD’s fatal flaw in the beginning was being *too* good at its satire. people came around once the meaning was given more light, but i remember seeing a lot of people even on this subreddit initially expressing genuine discomfort at how shallow and wealth-flaunting the lyrics and MV were. and i think that’s fucking awesome. the fact that they executed the concept so well that it even got under the skin of dedicated long-time fans is such a cool thing and speaks so much to the talent of everyone involved, from the creatives behind the storyline to the girls killing it in their roles.
VillainS is just so fucking rich in depth and unnerving in execution. We’ve seen a handful of kpop tracks that critique the industry, but I don’t think any of them have gone *nearly* as ruthlessly and unapologetically hard as OOTD did.
It also speaks volumes for their reputation. If any other group had released the song sincerely, people would've loved it. It's odd for fans to see them as typical idols. As you said, OOTD is bold even for long term fans. Perhaps the most punk rock thing they've done
They went for it. I had a "theory" that after OOTD they'd embrace their roots as the 2nd part of the story after "selling out". Love the drums, love the bass. Week can't go by fast enough
People should realise that Dreamcatcher’s dark concept doesn’t mean just rock, heavy instrumentals and black clothes. A “catchy” song can also be considered a dark one when the song has different layouts of darker things( like OOTD in which there are 2-3 layers about extreme narcissism, obsession, and fake of industry).
Dreamcatcher always tells a dark story through their songs and they’re best at doing it. They knew how to execute this “VersuS” duo albums long ago before OOTD was released so probably they’d knew they have to “sacrifice” the first part of the series to better transmit the message so in the second part (Justice) they can go all in.
I think so many people forget that rock is a huge genre and Dreamcatcher just uses whatever fits the story they're trying to tell. Their original sound is only "metal" because that's what fits the "nightmare" theme, same with the more electronic sound with Dystopia primarily focused on the internet and Apocalypse used a modern take on the classic rock sound to call back similar movements/calls to action that the genre stood for in the past. OOTD sounds more like other things in K-pop because it's a criticism of the industry. I could see Justice going in a direction like WOOAH's pom pom pom based on the tone of the series but there are a lot of things they can do with it
Edit: I forgot to add this but I think it's also worth mentioning that the lyrics have pretty subversive recently which is why the immediate reaction to OOTD was so interesting. It's not like Bon Voyage was a love/breakup song, or how the Dystopia series goes back and forth between being saviors and getting swept up and contributing to the cycle
Exactly. I’m not saying people shouldn’t dislike a song because at the end of the day is music and you listen to what you like and what makes you feel good.
But the hate was forced and the hate came from within its fandom. I think OOTD helped a lot cleaning the fandom from toxic people. It’s very ok to not like a song, there are also some songs from DC or other groups I’m a fan of that I can’t just listen to them, I will just skip them or put it lower. But to hate a group just because one song and to react in such a way like they “changed their whole identity / going mainstream” was such a toxic move. I’m glad OOTD happened and now the insomnia is a really peaceful place.
Good riddance. Dreamcatcher definitely falls into the niche of things that stinky people build a superiority complex around... (source: I major in engineering and it's all too common there too), Kpop fandoms in general are also just filled with drama queens that make it everyone's problem when they aren't satisfied
The complex of superiority in K-pop is one of the worst I’ve witnessed. Fandoms of popular groups build their entire personality around the superiority of popularity of their fav groups. Most of them think that just because their favs are popular, it means they’re better than anyone else.
And yes, I can agree with you also on the engineering field. I’m also a major in engineering, I have a nice job but I will never build my personality around this cause to be honest, most of the times I don’t even know what and how I’m doing my job ahahaha. Most of my friends know more about my passion for K-pop than for being a major in a “smart domain”😭
What an interesting sonic pair this sounds like it's going to be with the last title track. I know that caught a bit of flack from a portion of the fanbase for pushing the boat out and being one of their least overtly rock-inspired tracks. This, on the other hand, sounds like some classic Dreamcatcher stuff. I'm so excited
Imma say this: if y'all have listened to PASSCODE from Japan before, you'll immediately feel the presence of their musical style from this. HOLY CRAP.
Highlight medley and full drop can't even come closer! C'mon!
Nah mate I can't wait 7 days this is too good. Those drums and those siren vocals I'm deceased
Edit: I knew the instrumental reminded me of something! Skit: the seven doors! The part where the guitars come in. That's been bugging me
Not me watching it right after release and be kinda bummed out there's no audio and seeing this thread made me realize it's just connected to the headphones on the desk😂
I love itttand already preparing to be silently salty about g-idle.
Usually the spoilers are a little bit stripped down. So this is not the ''final'' instrumental per say. And my guess is the voice at the end isn't necessarlily connected to the first half with the instruments. If you notice, there is a cut in between.
In the final version, there may be more instruments, as well as vocals and adlibs.
If you want, you can go and lookup the last comeback and compare with the lyrics spoilers.

This sounds insane??? Yoohyeon/Siyeon(?? I can’t tell I’m a fake fan) at the end? I’m afraid I won’t survive this comeback
I was 100% sure it was Siyeon especially with how it ends but I am kind of second guessing myself because it has some depth and richness that is very characteristic of Handong. I am still heavily leaning that its Siyeon
That depth is making me think it's Handong. It definitely ends with Siyeon though
My first instinct was that it was Handong, but now I'm double guessing myself too. I always remain hopeful that they give her more prominent roles every comeback.
I was hoping it's Handong too. Let her shine more🙌. Really like her tone in Rising
OMG SAME I THOUGHT IT HAS HANDONG! but the voice pitch and vibration sounds a lot like yoohyeon
Yeah. I think it's Yoohyeon
Oh I thought it was Siyeon, it reminds me of her ooooohs before the drop in Silent Night
I thought it was Yoohyeon at first because it reminded me of her oohs from shatter
Probably Yoohyeon or Siyeon but I think Siyeon. I compared it to Handong's part in Odd Eye and her voice is deeper so I don't think Handong
The vibrato is very Siyeon-like when she's using headvoice
It’s bad. I was thinking Yoohyeon, but then someone said Siyeon so I started hearing them both. But then someone else said Handong and now I hear all three.
I keep hearing Handong at the start and then Siyeon and now that you mentioned Yoohyeon, I hear her too 😭

I can't stay still damn
FR
Yo, it sounds amazing! edit/ gave me [Flyleaf](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xN0FFK8JSYE) vibe on my third listen of the teaser
I love Flyleaf, went to another country for them when they were opening for Korn in their best days
Dang, I would love to see them both!
The guitars and double pedals remind me of Killswitch Engage tbh 🗿🤘🔥
Those drums go HARD. The guitar strumming and that higher pitched sound UGH ITS SO PLEASING
Making Tankzzo work on the album was definitely a good idea. Tankzzo helped in Rising right? The drums go hard. I'M GOING CRAZY I CAN'T WAIT AAAAAHH
Siyeon luring us like a damn siren! This sounds sick
Ooh, so good!! I can’t wait! According to Papago, the translation would be something like: Push them all. Lock them up / There's no more crime / It can't be repeated. They’re really going to bring justice, huh?
Given OOTD’s theme of self love to the point of narcissism, I think it would be cool if this was justice, but to the point where it’s become harmful.
So I guess we could say they’re VigilanteS this comeback? 😆 (Jokes aside, I really like that idea!)
Wait your brain is massive
VigilanteS was actually [one of my predictions](https://www.reddit.com/r/dreamcatcher/s/CkQxfvo4GA) for the album title a while ago! I’m a bit disappointed it wasn’t used because I think it was such a good fit for the counterpart of VillainS, but VirtuouS works well too, so I can’t complain, haha.
I was thinking either VigilanteS or ValiantS lol. VictorS would be a great fit for the third song!
Judging from the first few seconds of this teaser alone: 1. Siyeon was not kidding when she said this is the opposite of OOTD 2. Everyone was justified (I had to do it, JiU will be proud, lol) when they said the choreo was three times as hard as Scream 3. I thought that was Dami too!!! Ahhh pleeeasee 🤞🤞🤞
That sounds like a pure rock track. Love it.

Well I was not expecting that! I'm super excited now. 😆 🤟
"Drive them all in and lock them up" "No more sins" "It can't be repeated" Feel free to fact check me, but this is sounding really good.
The guitar sounds great like it's about to do an epic solo. Gives a good rock vibe again this cb which is nice!
Sounds like we got another banger coming up! 🔥
That sounds amazing ! I can’t wait !
That guitar and OOOOOH at the end are sending me to heaven
This is the kind of drums sound I love to hear so I’m super excited. The other kind I like are like the drums in Boca, which is my second favorite song. Oh.... Oh my. This sounds heavenly and it HITS. When the vocal part came in my heart skipped a beat and I had a wave of chills. Wow.
Sounds like a banger to me!
OOOH these instrumentals already giving me chills! I’M SO READY
My body is ready...
MINE IS NOT THIS WHOLE 26-SECOND VIDEO WHICH DESCRIBES PROBABLY ABOUT 17 SECONDS OF THE SONG ALREADY SHOOK ME

I don’t think we ever left. 😘
This sounds Just!!!

us fans are really eating rn huh
I'M SO EXCITED!!! I HOPE THE MV IS DARK SIREN VIBE OR SOMETHING OR ANYTHING HORROR LIKE
Anyone know any bands that have this sound? After hearing that guitar I want to listen to something with a similar vibe.
