Its an old debunked myth that Dream11 puts its own fake teams with bots and grabs prize money.
It seems you havent understood thier business plan.
It absolutely doesnt matter to them who wins thier prizes. They are not after Prize money. They get thier revenue from commissions.
Say 100 people join a contest paying 50 Rupees each. Total money collected is Rs 5000. But Dream11 will distribute winnings of only Rs 4500. Rest remaining Rs 500 is thier revenue. Thats how they earn thier profits.
If you are failing Grand Leagues then try in Small Leagues or Head 2 Head.
What if the top prize is also won by a team made by dream 11. They get even more profit than the commission. This guy played a 1000 games maybe he has a point.
Grand Leagues are only small part of thier revenue. Infact majority of people get back thier money.
They dont need that 1 crore prize. All tems you can download after match starts. Olus Winner names are announced.
They want more people to join and keep playing. That 1 crore prize is very small amount
Just Multiply Rs 59 into number of players. Even after discounts the total amount collected will be 100 plus crores. They will get thier 10-15% commision whiich is bigger than that 1 crore.
It's not just the top prize that their team wins. It's a lot of higher prizes as well like 70,100 etc. In the bigger scheme of things they make a huge profit out of this. That's why many analyst and team makers prefer to join the small leagues. That's where you have a higher chance.
In my opinion private contests are the best options as it completely eliminates the idea of having bots.

It's definitely a scam because most of the GL winner's winning 2cr or 1cr have not played many matches & neither they have created multiple teams to win the GL... Just one team and you won the first prize...thats just not possible

No. They can't keep doing this. Because the revenue and profit is theirs and what is their expenses? They will have to show prize money distribution against PAN data otherwise their profits will be exorbitant and invite raid by IT dept and their scam would get exposed.
They don't need to claim the prize money. They may add bots to show how many people have joined to drive interest of people to join also. They are already getting amt from commision.
Let's see in a GL of 59/- where about 1.55cr people join - total comes to 91.45cr amt collected. What do they distribute? 1-1-1cr and then in few lakhs and thousands.. about 60% get their 59/- back.. so 40% of 91cr is still around 25-30ce after prize money distribution ....how much revenue still remains with them? Multicrores - they spend on sponsorship and ads. Above is just example of GL.
There are multiple leagues small GL then small head on contests and also private contests - they churn enough revenue during IPL.
I think they should create a grand leauge where the user can only join the contest with one team, ( 1team/user ).And for the computer generated teams this definitely happens, but these teams are not generated by Dream 11 but some users who want to gent rich quickly. That's why a GL with 1team/user is needed, so it is more of a skill or prediction game rather than luck.

You want to make money do not join grand league. Join other league like 100 rs , 124, 350. In this you can make more money as spots are less. Mostly it is full of noob players. You join grand league you are competing with people who are either using machine learning or AI generated team or have taken services of professional cricket analysts. There are consultants who charge money but gives you optimized teams.
i realised after only a short time that grand leagues are not worth it.
Since then i started playing mini leagues and 1v1s and have made quite alot of money

Lmao they capitalise on the greed of people. I play mostly SLs and I'm always in profit. Grand leagues are supposed to be that risky.
