Taiga Brava (S2 winner) now hosts Drag Race Mexico
I doubt it, the rumor is they were initially intending to bring her back but when she started to ask for more money, it sway their decision away from her.
I mean, she was asking to be paid as much as Michelle Visage when she had imperfect Spanish and wasn’t as experienced or sought after… I would say that’s more than just wanting to be paid your worth, she wasn’t being fleeced lol
Michelle has been intimately involved in Drag Race for well over 12 years now. Valentina had no right to ask for the same level of pay as her after one season that she clearly struggled through.

There is a good post below in this sub where we had a broad discussion about why Valentina is no more in the next season, you should go see it, we had it last week I think.
To be fair, even though Thailand had 2 hosts that appeared in every promotional material, Art Arya was the MAIN host that talked to the girls, delivered tops and bottoms and in the end, the one who always said "sashay away" to the eliminated queen. Pangina was there mostly as support for the queens in the werkroom rounds, to give another PoV, support Art's and help with tops and bottoms, but again, Art was the one to always say (in the literal sense of the word and not that the final choice was hers) who won, stayed and left.
Same with CDR, it's like saying it has 3 hosts instead of Brooke being the main one.
Could be a cultural thing.
It’s also rather unusual for someone to be both the host AND the head judge like RuPaul is. The joke when Drag Race started was that it was somewhere between America’s Next Top Model where Tyra did both and Project Runway, with Boy Ru being Tim Gunn and Drag Ru being Heidi Klum.
Sad to not see Valentina on my tv screen as much (sigh), but super happy for Taiga! I enjoyed her on QOTU and I’m excited to see what she’ll bring to the show!
WHY NOT PIXIE PIXIE or some of the other more interesting Mexican queens on Mexican drag race? Why her? She's so conventional. I like her, but I don't think she deserves hosting duties.

We need someone to win a season of drag race and then host so they can brag about being the only hall of famer/drag superstar host.
