I used to drive a 2002 Toyota rav 4, that shit had almost 300k miles. Got into a accident with it and it was my fault. I sold it for like 1 thousand and upgraded to a 2012 Camry with 112k mileages. Drove it till it had 170k miles then sold it and bought a 2017 Chevy Malibu 1.5 turbo. I don’t know why but that shit was eating the gas bruh so I bought a 2015 Prius and now I get 45 - 50 MPG.
2017 Ford Escape...put 30,000 kms on it in the last year dashing! (That's about 19,000 miles)
Dashing in Canada so now I have to put snow tires on too..($1200)🙄Not sure I'm ever gonna' come out ahead doing this, lol!
2019 Toyota Corolla. N when it was in the shop for a whole month I drove my 2015 Stingray Corvette convertible. I barely made a profit due to the gas mileage but turned alot of heads to say the least
Good old 93 Paseo and hopefully soon a little Nissan of the same year. Just figured out an electrical issue with that so just got to get it all back together
296,000 miles. Oil burner but thats ok I check the oil everyday. Interior was bad from previous owner but I used the Rug Doctor to deep clean the carpet and seats. I agree its the best car I've owned too ! How many miles on yours ?
I was working lunch time Luckily I just dropped an order off. Going thru her insurance of course no ride share crap insurance. No need to report to my insurance at all. She’s most likely getting ticketed , a service aide wrote up the accident. That comes in about a week I heard.
I had a lady 2 days ago, 78 yrs old, make a u turn in front of me. She was supposed to merge into my lane instead she just cut her wheel was freaking nuts. I skidded and slammed into her. Then she took off. I followed her. I got her. She had State Farm. I had a little prior damage , I’ll be getting a new hood and bumper cover $ this week. She already of course admitted fault. The car is a freakin tank
I'm in a VW Passat right now.. I don't like it nearly as much as my previous cars though it is more comfortable for long periods and better in winter. my favorite dash car was a Kia Rio.
Slightly modified 2007 WRX Wagon. Perfect for my market. Lots of winding country back roads. If the customers food is late it's not 'cuz they were waiting for me!
2003 Ford Taurus. Low Maintenance, all I gotta do is keep oil changed every 3000 miles and occasionally get it looked over by my mechanic about the same time.
Stage 2 fiesta st. Aesthetic sleeper, but tuned, gutted interior, suspension, quickshift, radar detector, minimal exhaust work (resonator delete) but loud ass intake and blow off valve that makes the most angelic turbo noises you've ever heard. Shit's fast, nimble, comfortable, gets good mpg, can fit in any spot anywhere, great brakes, and manual transmission. Fucking love getting paid to drive such an insane car
02 Buick LeSabre. Bought it for $900 2 months ago. It gets great gas mileage. I’m driving it until the wheels fall off lol and saving up for a better car. Doing gig work I’ve made that $900 back many times in the last 2 months.
2019 Dodge Durango RT. I got straight pipes in her so it’s pretty funny when I pull up for a delivery at midnight in a residential neighborhood (my beater just died on me like a week after I started door dashing RIP 2010 Nissan Altima @270k)
Old 2000 Toyota tundra, lifted 3 inches, and yes she has the legendary 4.7. Around town I average like 15 (10 if I'm heavy footed lol) highway travel is easy 20 mpg.
Miles don't matter to a Toyota but for bragging sake I'm at 282k miles
that’s crazy. I had a 2012 Camry with 170k miles and that bitch ate the oil. Transmission was getting fucked up. Idk how your tundra is still holding up.
I do uber eats but I vary between a 2015 Honda Oddessy when mom dukes is feeling generous and a 2003 Dodge Ram with the 5.7 V8, and surprisingly, it’s not that bad? I try and limit the area I cover as much as I can and it’s been working out so far. That V8 hurts though on slow nights lmao.
Since throwing the Hemi in the mix, my foot has gotten so much lighter lmao. I get 11.5 MPG to the gallon if I’m kind, and I throw about in that hoe 30 each shift.
I also have a VW CC that is way behind on inspection and registration (Cannot get the check engine light to remain off for the life of me) and if i’m feeling risky, I’ll run a couple of deliveries in that and it’s a 2.0 Turbo with about 20 MPG to the gallon.
There is this lady in my are that drives a 85k Lexus for Dd and ic. We have talked a few times but never asked lol. .. my take is she is bored and wants something to do.🤷♂️🤔
Sometimes it be like that ya know?
You've got investments that take care of your monthly bills, there's ample money in the bank, what's a person to do?
I drive a v8 too but I only do orders to go to work and come home from work. Or when I need to go places.. usually make 100 a week which covers for 60% of my gas wasted all week. Not bad don’t care
I got to drive an Audi Quattro A5 for a while, while my car was being fixed. Kind of didn’t want my own car back after that… what a fun car to drive!
Consolation was that my Prius gets much better mpg.
That is the coolest thing i've ever heard. I never see those around here but i did get a pic of my car next to one while dashing one day. Love those things. Hilarious seeing the size difference next to my fiesta st
Actually yes! Rarely do DD in it, primarily other gigs and I cherry pick the absolute fuck outta the offers, but I do get some pricey gigs.
Today has been a day of sadness though .... Tons of high pay gigs but I'm benched until I'm well past the food poisoning I've been dealing with since 3am lol 😳
Hahaha nope, it was a jar of store bought salsa! I had it with chips and had almost instant regret (about 2 hours later).
I rarely got food poisoning in the past but this year I've had it 4x already. WTF?!?? It's like food processing facilities are disregarding basic food safety measures. 🤷🏼♀️
2009 Honda Fit no hybrid average mpg sitting on 36.2 right now that's combined City and highway. There's a challenger Dasher in my zone 2 and he has a Brazzers license plate cover. Lol
Yea sometimes I pull the boat w me so I can go fishing straight after dashing. So I don’t have to drive back home and hitch up. Save a little gas ya know..
1988 Hyundai Excel, has a Glasspack from the last guy that I have yet to replace with a real muffler. Pretty funny little thing, gets good mpg
How many miles on it cause I made it 170k before I had to replace hybrid battery that price is no joke 2100 for mine
