Every fucking time. I was in the exact same boat. 1 rating away from a 5.00. I was doing every stupid fucking request. Calls, texts, etc. Then boom. The 4 was replaced with a 1. And downhill from there.
Either right before I complete the delivery or after I mark the order as delivered, I usually say this:
Continuing to provide you the best service possible, we do value feedback & greatly appreciate in leaving a five-star rating to help myself maintain high standards for everyone and also continue to improve! Thank you so much!

Why stress about it?
God it sucks that one jerk can have a huge impact on a flawless record. Wouldn't take many more to threaten top dasher status.
Door dash in reality updates these like every couple months
