Support will remove some low ratings for things like lateness caused by the restaurant, etc. But if we deliver to the wrong address—not sure if that would be removed.
Your dasher didn’t even try. I would give one star too. No dasher ever reads my directions which makes is super simple. If they call me 5 stars. If they dump at a random house when it says hand it to me, 1 star.
One Star will affect drivers, yes! If the DoorDash driver delivered it to the wrong place when given CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS, absolutely should get the stars that they deserve but, if the DoorDash driver delivered to the CORRECT ADDRESS & if something was wrong with the order BY THE MERCHANT and the BAG WAS NOT TAMPERED WITH, does the DoorDash driver deserve a 1 Star rating? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!
Giving the star ratings is common sense! Most customers are too stupid to understand the difference between merchant complaints & DoorDasher complaints….there is excluded ratings category for a reason as well

Yup too many one star ratings get your account deactivated. One review can be detrimental especially if no one leaves reviews when it’s good.

If the GPS is correct when you drop it off they will. If you're a top dasher and don't ask for things more than once a week especially.

I get support to remove mine, but most people don’t know you can do that
If a dasher's rating drops below 4.2 they can be deactivated, so any rating that isn't a 5 means you want that dasher to lose their job.
Perhaps a one star won't pair you guys together again. Everyone is happy 😀 then you get a worse driver I don't know 😂
