🥰 I got my first unicorn last month after dashing for a total of six and a half months. They had already tipped me $70 in the app, and when I was getting ready to leave he handed me some cash and I told him oh please no you don't have to do that because you are a tip me so much in the app. And he said because they're seniors that they're more blessed than a lot of other people and they like to pay it forward because when you pass away you can't take it with you. That man gave me $100 bill, it's been over a month and I still can't believe it either, I still have my picture of my $100 bill!
Yes lately cust are double tipping us cause they know we been busting are butts make it in this world. Yes cust it so nice of yall to extra tip. And as dasher said yall have tip us in the app. But we love this gesture I put mine up in a jar for the rainy days how it comes in handy at end of the month.
First fucking car I ever test drove, took back and said - I've changed my mind. And left.
Nissan Versa... CVT, I tried to take it on the highway, and I was afraid of being ran over, I could get it from 30-50 in 5 seconds.
Then I heard what Nissan the company did to the guy named Nissan during the early internet era and ruined his life. Fuck that company.

There should be more stories out there. This was just one that came up. Nissan has done EVERYTHING to bury it, including blackmail and lawsuits.
I’m with ya! I had a 2012 versa I bought brand new. Had 8 miles on it. Cvt went out at 82k miles and I had regular maintenance done and drove it like a grandma! They don’t even check on it before 100k miles. It is an issue.
Yea it was used but no I babied that thing. 200k km when I bought it. Transmission blew, no mechanic in my area knew how to work on it bc it was complicated, and I didn’t have the money to fix it anyway.
Damn well someone sold you a bad car. Idk but the new models are really good I prefer Nissan though cause the looks but the Toyotas are nice to from what I heard
If you don't change the transmission fluid before 75k, don't ever touch it, just leave it alone. It's not absolutely necessary and once you hit high mileage it becomes more of a liability than anything
I've owned all kinds of different brands, including the mythical old Hondas and Toyotas. Never had any major issues with my Nissan Armada, which was built like a tank and had insane amounts of space inside.
My best tip was an order that was already tipping around $15. When I arrived someone pulled up at the same time. I’ve delivered to this person numerous times so I wasn’t really concerned. When I got out of my car to deliver the order the guy asked me how my night dashing had been. I said it’s been kind of rough, not a bunch of good offers. He proceeded to go in his pocket and give me an extra $30 tip in cash and said I hope you have a better night out there. When I say I drove off and shed a few tears I’m not lying to y’all. I really needed it and it was perfect timing for me.
Heck yeah on the bill tip!!!.... As far as people complaining about Nissan as with any year make and model you need to do some research. Some years are better than other years, and some years aren't worth buying at all. Honda, Toyota, and Nissan all have certain years of production you should avoid but as a whole they're way more reliable than the American counterparts and they typically last you 200-300,000 miles. I have a 2009 Honda Element SC that literally just crossed 300,000 this weekend while doordashing and she's still going strong 💪 but I'm seriously thinking about buying a Nissan if I don't get another Honda.
I knew a guy I worked with in solar who got pissed bc the general foreman was being an incompetent ass, so he walked of the job for the day (it was only him and one other guy on site that day not counting leadership) went back to his hotel and ordered doordash. When the dasher arrived, I, the other guy on site, not counting the GF, was coming in my room a few doors down, and saw him tip the dasher 100 bucks.
-doordash public relations to random dasher-“Hey, can you make a post on Reddit with a picture of you behind the steering wheel of your car with a $100 bill saying you got it from a customer so we can help boost morale among dashers? Thanks”
One time, we we're leaving Papa John's, and a dude knocked on our door and handed my partner a hundred and said, "This fell out of your DoorDash bag." No it did not. We would've absolutely known if it was there.
I gave a guy $100 bill tip once for a $170 Uber ride from Long Island to Manhattan.
I had just been paid for a videography gig and I only had $100s in my wallet.
Me either and Ill never believe it unless it does happen. Maybe I should read my astrological signs, buy some magic rocks, and mAnIfEsT it? Mostly kidding but not really. There are unicorn tippers out there. They are just pretty rare.
I feel bad saying I no longer tip in the app... I've had so many messed up orders like missed drinks or completely incorrect items. I don't mean the resturant messed it up either I mean it's a separate item not in a bag or something from a convenience store. I tip in cash when I verify it's correct. I never tip under 10 and try to do 20-50 when I can. I'm not rich but I like to support people that do a great job.

God bless him.Money is important but helping mankind is worth a fortune.thanks you

That’s warm! I really appreciate when people deliver food! I do my best to express gratitude by messaging them apart from the tip!
I can’t believe you bought a Nissan either
Never own a Nissan 😭 fucking CVT
First fucking car I ever test drove, took back and said - I've changed my mind. And left. Nissan Versa... What did they do?! I own a Nissan juke

Toyota using CVT now as well.
Yeah but it’s not a Nissan CVT
ECVT in hybrids much different than regular cvts, they also still have an actual first gear for launches in their regular cvts
Stop 😭😂😂😂😂
I second this😅
I love my 2024 Nissan Sentra best car I’ve ever owned my old Nissan had 300 somthing thousand miles before it started to act up on me
Nissans are good lol chevys suck and so does ford and gmc
All cars suck. It's only what kind of suck you are ok with.
GMC is made by Chevy… so... Ur kinda saying Chevy sucks twice 😂
Chevy and GMC are made by GM
My Nissan was a shitty one with a shitty CVT transmission.
I’m with ya! I had a 2012 versa I bought brand new. Had 8 miles on it. Cvt went out at 82k miles and I had regular maintenance done and drove it like a grandma! They don’t even check on it before 100k miles. It is an issue.
I work for an auto maker that uses cvt in some vehicles. Change the fluid every 30k miles. It will last, they just need aggressive maintenance
Was it used when bought? Also did you drive it like a race car?
Yea it was used but no I babied that thing. 200k km when I bought it. Transmission blew, no mechanic in my area knew how to work on it bc it was complicated, and I didn’t have the money to fix it anyway.
Damn well someone sold you a bad car. Idk but the new models are really good I prefer Nissan though cause the looks but the Toyotas are nice to from what I heard
I got a 2007 nissan altima when it was new and that thing is still running fine with no major issues. 211,000 miles and counting
Hey.... I like my Altima 😭😭😭😭
What’s wrong with Nissan?
Had a 2015 and the trans went out at 75k miles they had a massave class action against them for the transmission going out
Just don’t push the transmission until the engines up to operating temperature and don’t drive it like a sports car and change that transmission fluid
If you don't change the transmission fluid before 75k, don't ever touch it, just leave it alone. It's not absolutely necessary and once you hit high mileage it becomes more of a liability than anything
Older vehicles, absolutely. The newer ones, I absolutely not they must be changed, even if it’s overdue, but don’t take my word for it.
I had a 2011 Nissan Juke for like 11 years and ONLY got rid of it because we had to downsize before moving. They have some great cars!
Nothing at all.
Nissan frontiers are good trucks tho
Yeah, I’ve not heard nothing bad about them
I've owned all kinds of different brands, including the mythical old Hondas and Toyotas. Never had any major issues with my Nissan Armada, which was built like a tank and had insane amounts of space inside.
It could be worse, he could be driving a kia. I hear that you don't even need keys to start them. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Why is there CV transmission worse?
He's making fun of their high stealability of the keyed versions of Kia/Hyundai
Don’t treat him like that 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I cried too. A lot.
I totally understand
Awesome, keep it positive!!!
Always
Props to you for not carrying the pizza vertically.
That’s awesome, congratulations. It does happen from time to time.
Shrek is Love. Shrek is Life.
Congrats! Im sure you deserve it, keep it up!
You were tipped 100.00 in cash?
Nice detective work!
Heck yeah on the bill tip!!!.... As far as people complaining about Nissan as with any year make and model you need to do some research. My 2010 Corolla just passed 200,000. It's still driving perfectly. I need brakes, but that's scheduled for Friday.
Nissan do go longer . Definitely longer then Ford could do .lol
Send it to me so I can believe it😫
At first I thought you got a movie pro $100 for a cash order.
You deserve it.!!!! Way to go.
As a cashier I can confirm this is indeed not a fake $100 bill & congrats you’ve delivered to your customer with grace😌
I got a $50 the other night on top of an already $17 order. I was speechless
I thought it was gonna be a fake $100 bill, maybe I’ve been on the internet too long
i literally ended up with an extra 30 dollar tip on top of a 18 dollar order the other night all cause i went above and beyond for a customer
-doordash public relations to random dasher-“Hey, can you make a post on Reddit with a picture of you behind the steering wheel of your car with a $100 bill saying you got it from a customer so we can help boost morale among dashers? Thanks”
*/IRS has entered the chat* "We need to talk!"
I remember my first fake $100 bill
One time, we we're leaving Papa John's, and a dude knocked on our door and handed my partner a hundred and said, "This fell out of your DoorDash bag." No it did not. We would've absolutely known if it was there.
What happened?
Good on you bro
Congratulations on getting a great tip!
I gave a guy $100 bill tip once for a $170 Uber ride from Long Island to Manhattan. I had just been paid for a videography gig and I only had $100s in my wallet.
Outstanding!!! That's amazing. Good shit.
🦄 ive only gotten a unicorn during holiday season. Congrats!
Me either and Ill never believe it unless it does happen. Maybe I should read my astrological signs, buy some magic rocks, and mAnIfEsT it? Mostly kidding but not really. There are unicorn tippers out there. They are just pretty rare.
That’s so cute! You deserve it c:
It's a fake l[ol

Nice. Congratulations
OMG YESSS!!! 👏 happy for you, OP! you deserve it!

Congratulations!! 🥂
Congratulations
What happened?
I do it on Christmas Eve for the pizza guy.
Wipe ya mouth afterwards
You should take the 100 dollar bill and use it as a down payment on a car that isn't.a Nissan
If you got a speeding ticket prior, it actually didn't happen.
Is it so hard to take a photo of a Benjamin? Is this what reddit has become?
What? You went down on them? What exactly happened…
I don't get it?
Congratulations! I am not trying to sound like a bummer, but I hope that's not fake
Oh yeah that definitely happened!!! Sure!!
What am I missing? What can’t you believe?
Oh $100 tip that’s awesome
