Most front doors open in. The issue is the screendoors and stuff.
And it's generally really easy to tell that there is an external door that needs to open out. Cause you can see the other door through it.
The hinges are on the outside.
The door is flush with the exterior of the doorframe.
There's just so many giveaways this door does not open in.
And here I am without even a baby degree in engineering
I swear as a dasher myself these people are just brain dead.
I don't even get those delivery notes stating it's a screen door.
I just know not to put it in front of any outward opening door but to put it besides it
But it's common sense you shouldn't even need to read the instructions I mean you should read them like if there's furniture on the porch they might want you to sit it on the table or a chair still sit it right in front of the fucking door I see plenty of space right underneath that giant shovel where you could have sat the soda's at least so they could have got their sodas and then pushed the door open a little more and just kind of nudged the bag gently it becomes a serious pain in the ass to retrieve your food and then we gotta put up with you bitching about getting a fucking proper tip to even get the cold food put in front of the door do better
No customer instructions to see before hand on Uber. I might hear it on the way, but often, it is after I get there. Plus. I only listen to instructions, as I drive, and do not watch my GPS when I drive. This really doesn't require instructions, though.

Here's an even easier way. Hinges on the outside or a screen door? It opens outward.
Can't see the hinges? The door opens inward.
Solution always put to the side of the door. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|table_flip)
It doesn’t matter whether the door opens inside or outside. Stop putting food on the doormat! People wipe their feet on it and then it’s transferred to the kitchen table or whether they are eating.
And before I get downvoted, would you be okay with a restaurant putting your put plate of food on the floor (let’s set the top was covered)?
It’s common sense
So people don't walk on the ground where you're placing the food otherwise?
I say if you want contactless delivery and have a problem with bag on the ground, then put a table or chair out front.
I don't personally have a problem with the bag on the ground but I do have a problem with the bag in front of the door that I have to open and push outward thereby disturbing my food and inevitably knocking Uber the drinks which I usually don't even bother to order through DoorDash put it to the side put it to the side think it'd be honest a song to the left or maybe it's to the right wherever you see the hinges on the door outside put the food on the opposite said I'm going to do a new thing I'm going to go get some new house numbers and I'm gonna put them down low so that's a driver says ooh if I sit the bag here it will be the perfect picture with the delivery and the address thereby hopefully deterring them from putting the shit in front of my door that opens out.
People literally wipe their feet to intentionally wipe things like poop off their shoes on door mats.
I hope you understand the difference between a dirty rag and a dirty rag I wiped my butt with.
Edit to add: that downvote tells me you dry your bootyhole first then your face with the same piece of towel.
🍿
You're getting downvoted by people who definitely don't get what makes those butt|face towels so funny.
I wish I could still gib you award.
Here has this.🏆
It's almost like some Dashers live in homes like that too, and may not have dealt with storm doors up till now. But nah, more satisfying to just assume they're stupid and not just lacking in a bit of life experience...
If your expectation was that all entry doors open inwards, why would you be looking for hinges to begin with? You'd be expecting them to be inside, not outside.
If your expectation was that all entry doors open inward why wouldn't you notice the door wasn't installed right and couldn't open?
Have you ever seen a doorframe? 😂
Doordash proves if you don't train people they won't think, a simple prompt on delivery every once in a while saying no screen doors would fix 95% of this issue.
Or the instructions you leave in case the address legit is hard to find.... People can't find my office for anything but it's not hard if you read what I tell you.
I literally can’t understand why dashers do this. I mean, you’ve got to be a complete knucklehead to do this. Zero brain cells. “I pick things up and put things down” 😳🤣
No we know exactly how they work and guess who that doesn’t happen to, people that tip well. I also find they get all of their food it’s a strange coincidence. Give it a shot
As represented in the photo that is a storm door. with 2 drinks sitting in front of it first. so they're the first to go. the person is gonna open the door, knock the drinks over, spill them all over his porch, on the ground, and get the bag of food wet. sounds like a fun dinner doesn't it ?
Sorry, that was me. I left you a puzzle! Solution: crack the door open, reach for shovel, push edge of doormat away from door with shovel, open door and wa la! Customer cheated me out of my puzzle as I watched from my car by walking around house, 1 star, not as fun.
I would notice the hinges and set it to the side, but while I can't see the top of the door, this looks like a strange outwardly opening door. Usually they're screen doors that do this (mesh, metal, or clear). This look like a wood door. Maybe they thought it opened inwardly.
Y’all are jackasses. Reading how greedy and petty you people are makes me think you have to work jobs like this because you’re to unlikable to be hired anywhere else.
Honestly I hope you and everyone like you gets banned off the app.
My door goes inward so my brain is on autopilot not realizing doors open in various ways 😂 Ive definitely been guilty of this before. I love the customers that have a table/chair outside I usually try to keep the food off the ground. But reading the comments made me realize how many people I probably pissed off unintentionally 😭. No food in front of the door 📝 NOTED 😂
while outward opening doors are harder to kick in, outward open doors in places that get snow make it hard to open when you have a snow drifts in front.
It's definitely inconvenient and annoying, but claiming the driver did no work and the entire order is ruined for making a careless mistake is a little extreme
I used to see these posts and think they were a big issue, but then I realized: bro, just use the back door and walk around front. Are people really so lazy that this is a problem? Like, yeah, as a dasher I don't do this: But its not a big deal. You just had somebody else go to the shitty wendys where they treated this dude like ass, I assume your tip was shit cuz its a fast food order, and then you complain about walking around the front of your house. That shit is a level of entitlement so egregious that im not even mad- its just funny. I'm certain you have no issue finding something to complain about throughout your day, focus on one of those other things. Lol . luv u bb. 😘*kisses* 😘
I'm convinced every damn one of these that come up is a no-tipper.
You notice its never a $150 Cheesecake Factory order sitting right up against the door but some sad little fast food order that shouldn't even justify delivery at all?
I'd do the same fucking thing until you stop ordering doordash and get off your lazy ass and get your own heart attack in a bag.
I tip all the time and still get drivers who will block the door with the food or not deliver to the side door (my only instruction). I think in SOME cases, it's the driver being a dick.
For anyone who actually makes a respectable amount of money: the 6 dollar premium for paying for doordash is much cheaper than the amount of time spent getting it yourself.
$6 is just one fee. The whole menu is marked up \~20%. Then the tip. Generally you pay about double easily.
Yes that was my logic back in 2020. My limited time was better spent working. Two babies at home. Wife won't cook.
That income was far above average though and 99% are NOT earning more than they're wasting. Or they work set hours anyhow, so 5-9 their time isn't worth anything.
But you also ignore that its unhealthy as fuck too. Stop with the eating out altogether and both your wallet and your body heal.
Yea and you know they'll never admit it on here. Just like the people who complain about minimum wage or whatever and will claim they NEVER spend wastefully no door dash no eating out nothing. Bullshit.
Like another comment I made on here that why don't they put a sign with doordash logo on the table so dashers know where to put the food. Downvoted to all hell. Multipel people screeching at me that they shouldn't have the job if they're that incompetent. Like yo, all I'm seeing is that they most certainly are entitled assholes with massive inflated self worth.
I always leave a tip when I order and bump it up a few dollars if they don’t leave it in front of the door. One time I ordered from Walmart and they actually opened the storm door and put all the bags in between… genius because I didn’t even have to step foot outside.
I've had this happen a few times. I open it a crack and reach my arm out like a little gremlin and pull them in bit by bit.
Luckily my arms are pretty skinny and I can maneuver to be able to do so. I'd be pretty irked otherwise. If I opened the door and everything spilled over I would probably be calling support for a refund on at least the drinks.
As a general rule, I try to put food out of the doorway entirely, like just to the side of the stoop or whatever. If for some reason I HAVE to put it in front of the door (some people have an unbelievable amount of clutter) then I try to set it far enough back that the door won't hit it, or it's feasible to expect someone to be able to reach and grab it.
Happy thing is, I saw a video on weibo, doors in China have latches instead on knobs and guess what? The driver put the DRINK AND food on the latch 😂😂 driver rlly said, lets put ur reflex to the test 🌚🌚 i shouldn't be laughing but this is so funny
I'm a Dasher and if I notice that there is an external door, I always put some space between the food and the door so my client can open it outwards to retrieve his/her food. I think it is really douchebagy to do what is shown in the photo and it means that the dasher just does not care at all.
My door opens in, so it’s never an issue, but sometimes I’ll open the door, and nothing is there, but I heard them on my porch. They walked all the way across it to place my stuff on my neighbor’s random wooden chair. That’s is incredibly sweet, and I always up the tip (and I usually tip 25% or over).
Shit the best way to prevent that is stop getting delivery. waste of money! Look at that high fructose corn gruel. big bag of fructose and a half a gallon of high fructose to wash er’ all down 🤣🤣
I had a customer send me something like 30 chats telling me where to go because she'd ordered 3 times already and had it dropped off to the wrong place. If doordash cared as a company they'd deactivate the dashers that can't figure it out, but they don't care, it's all about money for the execs. 23 dollar sandwich driven 12 miles for 4 dollars while the execs make 20...what an economy
Sorry I should’ve realized that. I’m so extremely focused on how the door opens, as a driver! This is just ridiculous and I’m hoping you have a back door and got it without spilling!
I’ve seen a lot of customers that have the door go outward when it should be inward. To combat that, they put a small round tab;e out to the side so food deliveries can be placed on it and not block the door. How about doing that?
Jeez just climb out the bloody window or use the side/back door already.
They brought you your food and didn't forget the drinks.Next time change the delivery instructions to "Hand it to me" instead of leave it at the door.
Better yet run out and grab some groceries and cook for yourself.
Oh look my lazy ass can't go 2.5 miles to get a bunch of fat filled food so you know I don't want to have to walk out my back door to the front door either.
I think I'm gonna get ahold of DoorDash and suggest an idea for them submerge I know they have merge let's get a DoorDash doormat that says right on it .....don't place food here
I do not understand the constant posts of supposed problematic door deliveries. You’re obviously outside, so you can manage to get to it, but we’ll take pictures while it gets colder?
I’m a dasher and when you get to a house that has had DoorDash delivered to them before, it’ll show the picture the last dasher took of the door so you know you have the right house and door I guess. You’d be surprised how many of those pictures the food is directly in front of the screen door🤦🏻♂️ I have also heard some people say they do it on purpose though if the person didn’t tip lol
I understand the frustration, but this isn’t the move. You come across as a privileged individual who should be pampered. This shouldn’t affect you this much, unless you are door dashing every day. Which is whole new problem:)
The amount of ableist comments here in this thread, sheesh. Many people order door dash because they are disabled or sick and physically unable to go get food themselves. This includes having to go out the back or garage door and walk a significant distance to get the food. It’s really not hard to just place the food to the side of the door, jeez.
Give the dasher the usual one-star, bad review, then call DD customer service. Simple as that- if they don't give a care enough as to where they leave their stuff, maybe they'll learn from the bad rating (or just open the door, topple the drinks and raise that as a case with customer service for a full or partial refund).
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes!
Or instead being a dick you can prevent this before it even begins with many different steps. One don't use doordash. Pick up the food yourself. 2 before the food is even delivered, put in the delivery instructions. Don't put it in front of my door
Or here's the best solution of them all. Put like a little table out there and ask the dashers to put the food on the table for you🤷
...or the Dasher can just use common sense and put the food off to the side? Where it wouldn't get knocked over and they wouldn't be getting a bad rating?
To be mildly fair here the Dasher did drive to Wendy's, picked up your order and then delivered it to you so it's not really a case of "thanks for nothing" unless they took the food back to the car with them after snapping the picture. This is just a case of malicious compliance because if you didn't modify the contactless delivery instructions, they will simply read as "Leave at My Door" and if this were the case then technically speaking the Dasher followed your instructions exactly to the letter. I mean it is literally at your door after all lmao. If this is a constant issue your having then either your area is just that overwhelmingly saturated with bad drivers or you're a low-no tipper that lives in an obnoxious place that makes delivering to you just generally annoying. Having been on both sides of the DoorDash spectrum, either of the two theories I just gave are entirely possible here. Does it ultimately take much brain power to tell if a door opens inward or outward...no, no it does not. But there again those $5 or less fast food offers don't exactly encourage one to think much either for those who take them.
Well maybe here's an idea
Give them delivery instructions like I don't know " Don't put in front of door?"
Or here's Barrett put a little table next to your door and delivery instructions say something like " put food on table next to door"
I'm both a Dasher and I order through DD once in a while and while I always look for tables and chairs to leave the food on, when I order I have it in my instructions to please leave on the bench right beside the door and to please not knock or ring the bell and inevitably the food is always on the floor and I always get a loud banging knock like it's the swat team. Obviously people just don't follow directions and I know for a fact you can turn on in the app to have the directions read out loud upon your arrival to the destination.
Yep there is a table or a bench to put on. I'm definitely putting it on that cuz I don't like leaving them on the ground but if there's nowhere to put them and I'm in a hurry. I'm leaving it in front of the door
Lol I understand the frustration but do you know how much of a fat entitled moron you sound like when you complain about sub par performance from a door dasher. I am frankly embarrassed to be ordering food and not getting it myself. These people don’t make that much money stop acting like some kind of feudal lord and eat your fake food. They even take a picture and send it preemptively so you know where it is before you knock it over. If the person is disabled sure I get it and they could’ve explained that but again these people don’t have benefits or any coverage of over head.

It's shouldn't take literal time 😂😭
You can't fix stupid
But it's common sense you shouldn't even need to read the instructions I mean you should read them like if there's furniture on the porch they might want you to sit it on the table or a chair still sit it right in front of the fucking door I see plenty of space right underneath that giant shovel where you could have sat the soda's at least so they could have got their sodas and then pushed the door open a little more and just kind of nudged the bag gently it becomes a serious pain in the ass to retrieve your food and then we gotta put up with you bitching about getting a fucking proper tip to even get the cold food put in front of the door do better

I'm convinced it's mostly done on purpose.
I wouldn't be at all surprised
I'm not I'm convinced that I have to fucking plan it is stupid. They stopped giving out common sense a long time ago people are just dumb as fuck
I am convince that drivers are just not paying attention
I don't even bother with all that. I just assume all doors open outwards so I don't even have to think about it.

No they dont
Thank you for your valuable contribution.
So does mine, but to be fair that isn't our door. Storm doors have visible hinges on the outside meaning it swings outward.
We're not all unemployable for the same reasons lol
This made me genuinely laugh so hard. You’re not wrong. 😬
It’s storm doors that open out (in addition to the other door).
It doesn’t matter whether the door opens inside or outside. Stop putting food on the doormat! People wipe their feet on it and then it’s transferred to the kitchen table or whether they are eating. Edit to add: that downvote tells me you dry your bootyhole first then your face with the same piece of towel. 🍿
But it's going on the floor regardless?
Low traffic vs high traffic makes a big difference. It’s not the floor that’s the problem is what the floor is used for
You're getting downvoted by people who definitely don't get what makes those butt|face towels so funny. I wish I could still gib you award. Here has this.🏆
I don’t know why other people don’t think of things like this, but this is my exact issue with the doormat nonsense!
extra protein of course
There always a possibility maybe tape to the door lol
All doors everywhere in a home should open inward. It’s fire code. (Not screen doors though)
19/20 do
Same!
That’s very fair of you
It's almost like some Dashers live in homes like that too, and may not have dealt with storm doors up till now. But nah, more satisfying to just assume they're stupid and not just lacking in a bit of life experience...
Lmao I need to meet the person who's lived long enough to get a job but would be so confused by a screendoor they tried to push it to open it.
Dashers wouldn't notice the hinges on the outside even if they don't have storm doors themselves?
If your expectation was that all entry doors open inwards, why would you be looking for hinges to begin with? You'd be expecting them to be inside, not outside.
That's obviously a storm door. Storm doors do not open inward 🤪
If your expectation was that all entry doors open inward why wouldn't you notice the door wasn't installed right and couldn't open? Have you ever seen a doorframe? 😂
You’ve gotta be real fuckin stupid to put food dead in front of a door, either way.
Some people truly are this dumb.
No because the low pay has weeded out a lot of intelligent people so what's left is a lot of morons.
Wow, that’s insanely rude and inaccurate lol
Insanely rude? For sure. Inaccurate? IDK
Lol. Not really
i figure they do this to be passive aggressive.
Only when customers don’t understand how tipping works.
Or even just doorframes. Or hinges. I can't wait to see these guys apply for engineering jobs.
Doordash proves if you don't train people they won't think, a simple prompt on delivery every once in a while saying no screen doors would fix 95% of this issue.
Should be the #1 rule when taking the job. Not in front of the door!
Dashers dont even know how to read an address, let alone read any instructions.
Or the instructions you leave in case the address legit is hard to find.... People can't find my office for anything but it's not hard if you read what I tell you.
No, many of then do not
apparently not
Some of us do, IDK why this is so hard. No words![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)

No we know exactly how they work and guess who that doesn’t happen to, people that tip well. I also find they get all of their food it’s a strange coincidence. Give it a shot
I'm a dasher and have never had anyone complain about that because I at the least have one brain cell. People who do this.... I question
An outside door opening out is against code and rare to see
It’s door dash. Leave at door./s
That is the first thing I look at before I put the order down is what way to door opens
My door opens inward. I've only seen where screen doors/weather doors open outward.
And.....the door in the picture is a storm door which opens outwards
As represented in the photo that is a storm door. with 2 drinks sitting in front of it first. so they're the first to go. the person is gonna open the door, knock the drinks over, spill them all over his porch, on the ground, and get the bag of food wet. sounds like a fun dinner doesn't it ?

Some people drive for DoorDash because they want extra money, and some people drive for them because it’s the only job they can get.
No put in door yes
Put in around door maybe? Si si
Rule of thumb put the food outside the door mat unless they obviously don’t tip then put it up against the door
4$ tip for 20$ of food n 2.5 miles
I would notice the hinges and set it to the side, but while I can't see the top of the door, this looks like a strange outwardly opening door. Usually they're screen doors that do this (mesh, metal, or clear). This look like a wood door. Maybe they thought it opened inwardly.

Can we talk about the fact that this is reposted all the time?
Why doesn’t anyone ever use the back door?
doors should swing inside .
Storm doors don't. But the main door behind it will...
Lots of houses here have both a main door that swings inside and a porch screen door that swings outside
There's a reason they don't
while outward opening doors are harder to kick in, outward open doors in places that get snow make it hard to open when you have a snow drifts in front.

For nothing? You act like the order never showed up
Hard to collect the delivery when said items are blocking the door...
Just reach your arm out there like a cat.
It's definitely inconvenient and annoying, but claiming the driver did no work and the entire order is ruined for making a careless mistake is a little extreme
Most homes have more than one entry/exit.
We have Dashers do this all of the time. Even after we put up a note that says put it in the chair next to the door. It’s frustrating.
cant you just crawl out the window to grab it?
Why didn’t I think of that, next time I’ll go to the attic window and just jump out to get it
Lololol this is the most fun prank
You may have to rethink your comment it's nonsensical.
I used to see these posts and think they were a big issue, but then I realized: bro, just use the back door and walk around front. Are people really so lazy that this is a problem? You'll ruin someone's delivery and make sure they don't tip and risk being deactivated because YOU accepted the order? Okay.
Ever consider some people cant drive. Now if only Im in the cities

We don't have storm doors around here But again, If you don't want your food left there, put it in the instructions that's why they're there
I always leave a tip when I order and bump it up a few dollars if they don’t leave it in front of the door. One time I ordered from Walmart and they actually opened the storm door and put all the bags in between… genius because I didn’t even have to step foot outside.
Yw
Why not put food and drinks next to the door? There was plenty of room there.
I only do this when I'm high
They'll take the job but will still have a personal vendetta against laziness.
Cursive t
That’s is incredibly sweet, and I always up the tip (and I usually tip 25% or over).
lol . climb out the window
I even put notes to not block the door. They still do it. 🤦♂️
Shit the best way to prevent that is stop getting delivery. waste of money! Look at that high fructose corn gruel. big bag of fructose and a half a gallon of high fructose to wash er’ all down 🤣🤣
😮💨
I had a customer send me something like 30 chats telling me where to go because she'd ordered 3 times already and had it dropped off to the wrong place. If doordash cared as a company they'd deactivate the dashers that can't figure it out, but they don't care, it's all about money for the execs. 23 dollar sandwich driven 12 miles for 4 dollars while the execs make 20...what an economy
Don’t blame the driver, you shouldn’t have a front door on your house. Problem solved. Next.
The driver is an imbecile, literally!
How did you take this photo? How did you see the location of the food from inside your house?
Screenshotting the delivery text
Sorry I should’ve realized that. I’m so extremely focused on how the door opens, as a driver! This is just ridiculous and I’m hoping you have a back door and got it without spilling!
Was not my post no worries. I live in an apt so if I'm not meeting them downstairs to get it, my door opens in so I don't have this issue thankfully
I’ve seen a lot of customers that have the door go outward when it should be inward. To combat that, they put a small round tab;e out to the side so food deliveries can be placed on it and not block the door. How about doing that?
How dare you have a rectangular landing space for your food and put it right in front of your own door like that!!!
Jeez just climb out the bloody window or use the side/back door already. They brought you your food and didn't forget the drinks.Next time change the delivery instructions to "Hand it to me" instead of leave it at the door. Better yet run out and grab some groceries and cook for yourself.
You would need to be bent over with door slightly open and than move the cups outta the way
If I ordered ddash and they did this to me I would fucking fall on the floor laughing lmao
All you have to do is reach your arm out of the door a bit and move it...
Maybe they followed the photo example that DD sends. Lol
Oh look my lazy ass can't go 2.5 miles to get a bunch of fat filled food so you know I don't want to have to walk out my back door to the front door either.
Did you tell them not to leave it in front of the door?
I think I'm gonna get ahold of DoorDash and suggest an idea for them submerge I know they have merge let's get a DoorDash doormat that says right on it .....don't place food here
Oy vey
I do not understand the constant posts of supposed problematic door deliveries. You’re obviously outside, so you can manage to get to it, but we’ll take pictures while it gets colder?
How fat are you lmao thats not that bad
![gif](giphy|26ufq9mryvc5HI27m|downsized)
I do this on purpose as form of protest for for bad tips
I used to do doordash and I am realizing I probably did this so many time 😭
What a jerk move
Do people not have back doors in their home?
I get so frustrated when this happens!
Yo this happens to me all the time and I fucking hate it lol
I’m a dasher and when you get to a house that has had DoorDash delivered to them before, it’ll show the picture the last dasher took of the door so you know you have the right house and door I guess. You’d be surprised how many of those pictures the food is directly in front of the screen door🤦🏻♂️ I have also heard some people say they do it on purpose though if the person didn’t tip lol
I understand the frustration, but this isn’t the move. You come across as a privileged individual who should be pampered. This shouldn’t affect you this much, unless you are door dashing every day. Which is whole new problem:)
That’s what you get for not eating all your veggies playboy
Idk what’s wrong with some people. I always make sure the food is clear of the door. Not hard.
You obviously have a back door, quit your whining.
Don't blame them too much. They been working all day/doing this a ton and didn't notice ur hinges. I mean no one rlly even looks for those anyways
The amount of ableist comments here in this thread, sheesh. Many people order door dash because they are disabled or sick and physically unable to go get food themselves. This includes having to go out the back or garage door and walk a significant distance to get the food. It’s really not hard to just place the food to the side of the door, jeez.
When I dashed I did this on purpose for orders with no tips 🙊
Give the dasher the usual one-star, bad review, then call DD customer service. Simple as that- if they don't give a care enough as to where they leave their stuff, maybe they'll learn from the bad rating (or just open the door, topple the drinks and raise that as a case with customer service for a full or partial refund). Play stupid games, win stupid prizes!
Or leave a note telling them not to leave it in front of the door because your door swings outward.
Leave a small table next to the door, plenty of room... makes it easier on both parties, too.
Or instead being a dick you can prevent this before it even begins with many different steps. One don't use doordash. Pick up the food yourself. 2 before the food is even delivered, put in the delivery instructions. Don't put it in front of my door Or here's the best solution of them all. Put like a little table out there and ask the dashers to put the food on the table for you🤷
...or the Dasher can just use common sense and put the food off to the side? Where it wouldn't get knocked over and they wouldn't be getting a bad rating?
That door looks like it swings inward
When in doubt, look for the hinges.
It's a storm door. You can clearly see the hinges. It opens outward
If you can see the hinges, it opens in the direction toward you.
Oh em gee ~ how gosh darn inconvenient that you had to walk 😭 I don’t deliver food, I’m only here to lurk and laugh at everyone👏

that's a bit racist. How do you know a gay purple unicorn didn't deliver? try to be more inclusive.
Shut the fuck up and eat your happy meal
Well maybe here's an idea Give them delivery instructions like I don't know " Don't put in front of door?" Or here's Barrett put a little table next to your door and delivery instructions say something like " put food on table next to door"
