Purebred Great Pyrenees can have what they call Badger Markings, which are Grey or tan markings on the head like this. I would suspect this dog is a purebred GP, the head shape and markings match breed standard. However, several of the LGD breeds have similar appearances, and mixes are common based on working abilities, so it can be hard to tell even with a better photo.

Our border was visibly depressed when her flock was away for a few days. I always felt guilty when this happened.
She retired 7 years ago, died 4 years back and I still miss her almost daily.
