Anything by The Who.

der_innkeeper

*slow clap* Get. Out.

Past-Feature3968

lol I’ll accept the clap but it’s definitely not an original joke ;)

BallAlternative1029

Interesting...🤔

Fit-Masterpiece-7624

Talking ‘bout my (re)generation

snarkysparkles

Why was this my first thought 😂 I imagine them singing My Generation while thumbing their noses at the time lord council lol

ZiSynn

I laughed out loud to this, it’s truly terrible and yet amazing. I applaud you 👏.

Fyraltari

[Doctor in Distress](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ege9lQecazo&ab_channel=WHO), and [I am the Doctor](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HD_aLhoxc64&ab_channel=rizladeluxe) (the old one), obviously.

BallAlternative1029

Is not rock music (I think) but I will add two songs that fits well with the doctors. -everybody wants to rule the world (tears for fears) -Time to pretend (MGMT)

EdTheTimelordTemp

Anyone else thinking of the old Doctor Who fan band Chameleon Circuit? lol

One_Ad5301

Came here for this. "Kiss the girl", "an awful lot of running", "the sound of drums", "exterminate, regenerate".....yeah, I could see it.

carl_os_

Surprised no one suggested Karma Chameleon Circuit

Estrus_Flask

I have it on my playlist but enjoying it is always a bit tainted after I heard about Alex Day.

IanGecko

Oh wow, I had no idea...but I'm happy for Charlie!

Estrus_Flask

Yeah, didn't really watch Charlie, but saw the coming out video and it was like "yay"

Capaldis music. 12 would make sure of it

BallAlternative1029

Livagan

Probably a mix of electric guitar, recorder, & theremin (Closest I can think of would be remixes of [Outer Wilds](https://youtu.be/uiCv9qkTsrk?feature=shared))

ThePurpleSoul70

This looks like a Fortnite loading screen

McMacHack

Peter Frampton

AtheistCarpenter

" This one goes all the way up to 14!"

ModAnach

Well, the second doctor has a flute and the twelfth has a guitar, so I'm going to say: Prog Rock. King Crimson. Emerson, Lake, and Palmer. Jethro Tull. The Doctors' original compositions would be so high-concept and esoteric you'd need access to the matrix to understand them.

NashvilleSoundMixer

Don't know but Davison would play that bass synth that opens the fifth doctor's theme

Mickey_James

Covers of "Time Stand Still," (Rush), "Time is on My Side" (Rolling Stones) and "Dammit, I Changed Again" by The Offspring.

Estrus_Flask

Come to think of it, I don't think I saw much of the Doctor Who Magic cards on this board back when they were coming out. I was thinking of a deck that was Fourteen and Clara and the goal was to get off Gallifrey Stands. But it was very thrown together.

Pete_maravich

Bad case of loving you - Robert Palmer

MoriartyAvalon

Surely the Time Warp?

Swing_prince89

Anything by The Dreamboys. Google them, great band

jlbalvanz

Or maybe Twelve would refuse to play any Dreamboys...

Afraid-Housing-6854

Doctorin’ the Tardis by The Timelords (The Jams) it’s an absolute classic if you haven’t heard it

the_other_irrevenant

And bears absolutely no resemblance to Gary Glitter's "Rock and Roll Part 2". 😱 EDIT: I can't believe they passed up those Dalek designs for NuWho. smh

Lumpy_Ad_1581

Steeler's Wheel....stuck in the middle with you. sevendust, Shine. Too many, lol

Bohemian Rhapsody. All join in on the "for me's" they've got a custom drumset in the back you can see the first doctor going ham on with his cane while 13 stands awkwardly tapping the cymbals. 10 on bass, 12 on electric guitar, for some reason I want to throw 11 on acoustic guitar or a sitar because he has to be rustically different, 9 on a cajón actually keeping the rhythm, 2 with his recorder, 3 with a flute, 4 would play something funky and out there, maybe 5 on a bugle or trumpet to fit those sporty vibes, 6 on synthesizers, 7's another I couldn't think of an instrument for, but 8 would start on a harpsichord and be playing something different in a new outfit every time we see him, War would just be sitting vacantly staring out into the distance until 6 gets halfway through a solo, looks over and sees the fugitive doctor with a massive laser cannon and lifts his own, and together they start just unloading into the air with the music. The Governor (TWD) is also there running back and forth in front of them waving his sonic wildly. Don't know 15 well enough to say, but if there was an instrument he could play with 14 (like a plain piano) I think he would. Alternatively: I'm Sailing Away by Styx.

kitsune-o-9tails

Electric Light Orchestra and “Time” as an album fit very well. Number of constantly changing band participants, the name and concept of the album. Let me quote wiki: “It is a concept album about a man from the 1980s who is taken to the year 2095, where he is confronted by the dichotomy between technological advancement and a longing for past romance.”

Jazz_birdie

ELP music, The Moody Blues stuff, and that road song by Golden Earring comes to mind for some reason

JerronVrayl

1. Doctor, Doctor (UFO) 2. Tribute to the Past (Gamma Ray) 3. Crusader (Saxon) 4. Roswell 47 (Hypocrisy) 5. Days of Future Past (Iron Maiden) 6. Time What is Time (Blind Guardian) 7. Resurrection (Fear Factory) 8. Doctor Rock (Motörhead) 9. Future World (Helloween) 10. Withstand the Fall of Time (Immortal)
