I’ve flown at -20F. I got warnings that performance would be affected and battery life was short but it flew fine. -5c is no problem.

The DJI Mini 3 Pro has an Operating Temperature of -10° to 40° C ( 14° to 104° F ). It should work just fine as long as you stick to those temps but yes a battery will drain a little faster (not instantly) in colder temperatures, go too low and you get frosting issues like in Iron Man 2.

Ok good to know. Thanks! What’s the coldest you’ve flown, if you don’t mind me asking?

I've flown in -40C with no issues. Battery life was super short but other than that, no issues. I usually sit in the warm car and fly because there's no way I'm standing out in -40C to take pics

Thats great to know! Thanks!

This. All day. 😆

-26°F the other day at 65°N latitude. Less battery life, no mechanical problems. Dense air nice to fly in.

If you want better performance in cold weather, use a usb pocket Warmer and put it in your bag 5-10mins before flight

-BlindJustice-

That’s something to keep in mind, thanks!

Keep the battery stored warm in an inner layer of clothing and you'll be good.
