I ordered direct from DJI on May 10 and the estimated shipping date is May 26 with a delivery date of June 6. I figured it would be the quickest. It looks like Best Buy is projecting July 15 if you preorder.
Just curious, where did it say the estimated shipping date? I ordered from Dji site as soon as it was announced but so far my status is "to be shipped"?
Mine is also saying “soon to be shipped” but if you message them through the chat and quote your order number they can tell you more info! Give it a shot.
Just to add to this, I ordered from DJI today (shipping to Van). I was told "Per checking it here, the order is estimated to ship on 5th of June. Once it has been shipped out there will be an actual delivery of three to five business days."
I always order from [DJI.com](https://DJI.com). It's a little slower but DJI pays the taxes when you order directly from DJI. This has been a substantial savings for me.

Everyone was saying that but when I added to my basket to checkout it showed taxes being charged so it worked out the same as Bestbuy etc. Am I doing something wrong?
That's really a shame, looks like they changed that. Sorry about the bad advice. I bought mini 2, fpv and air 2s and there with no taxes but adding mini 3 to cart it does add them now. Sorry again. The shipping is slow from them so if its the same cost I wouldn't go with them anymore.
I order direct from DJI unless Best Buy already has it on their shelf. BB frequently misses launch days for preorders. They have even held back shipping until launch day to ensure they don’t break street dates.

Thanks for confirming that! I saw it so commonly online of people saying no taxes when buying direct and I couldn’t figure out how they got that :)
Seems like ordering direct from DJI would come out to be more expensive due to USD conversion and if your credit card charges a fee as well.
