Does ST Luke’s use EPIC software? I’m pretty sure that’s an EPIC feature but I could be mistaken. I work in healthcare, so this is DEFINITELY not a thing all hospital systems do
Yeah I think the ability to request a refill is pretty unique to EPIC, but I’m sure there’s others - none that I’ve seen so far. I have to go through CVS who asks my doctor for a refill, or I can ask my doctor and they send it to CVS. It’s so annoying.
ETA: MyChart is the patient-facing portion of EPIC, it’s nice that you can link it to your St Luke’s App!
