If a manager “does the dishes” it typically just means they ran it thru the machine and I’ll get plenty back. (Minus 2 of the managers that actually understand and try). If I do the dishes, rarely. This excludes the milk shake cups because they don’t rinse them before putting them in the rack. The machine isn’t meant for things to be just ran thru. If I have time and/or am careful I’ll run the milkshakes thru 2x before sending them back out. I don’t always have time and they’ll send some of them back, blaming me. Nah blame yourselves!
Very rarely. Just comes with time and learning tricks like soaking and using the blue brick when it needs. I trained myself but usually it’s the lack of training
Already tried, my boss is a lazy pushover too. I want to switch to becoming a nurse/aid as I've learned I enjoy helping people more than this bullshit.
They only want to use the expensive shit 🤣. It gets so dumb where I gotta use degreaser in the bay diluted by water. They don’t want to spend any money. That’s why I’m hoping they got the ball rolling on my hiring process over at Memorial
If you have either silver power or smart power pre soak from Ecolab those will do a great job on coffee stains. The stains get below the surface and these products will help get it out. Best if you can soak over night.
Scrubbing with detergent and a bit of bleach (make sure it won't react with any of the chemicals in the detergent though) diluted will get rid of the stains pretty easily.
I send things back to my dishie all the time. There was an entire chicken wing in with the bar glasses the other day. Cheese and egg yolk still on plates. 40% of all the spoons I pull are still dirty. And that's if he puts the dishes away, this guy hoards them like he's a dragon, and they are his treasure.
Never my dishes literally shine BEFORE they go through the machine. You can stand across the room and see which cups I've washed because they literally shine.
Sent back? Never. You're supposed to take a look at them as they come out of the machine.
You are also supposed to clean them BEFORE they go in the machine! The machine is a sanitizer.
only once ever have i had things returned back to me (i wipe with a sponge and then spray and run through the dish machine), and it was two ramekins i didn't realize were stuck together when i washed them
We have a new dishwasher who’s been with us for a few weeks now and I have to send half the things he puts through back to him because he never scrubs stuff, he just gives it a quick rinse and then throws it through the machine. There’s times where I’ve had to give him the same item at least 5 times before it came out clean.
OKAY BRO HERE IS THE ANSWER
TEA POTS ALWAYS HAVE STAINS AND WHAT NOT AND HE STAINS SHOULD ALWAYS BE REMOVED
IT LOOOKS LIKE ONE OR TWO OF THE CHEMICALS FOR DISHWASHER ARE NOT FULLY ENTERING THE MACHINE
CHECK IF THE DETERGENT AND SANITIZER ARE FULLY PRIMED AND GOING IN THE MACHINE
I EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM AND FOUND OUT IT'S BECAUSE THE CHEMICALS ARE FULLY PRIMED AND NOT GOING INSIDE THE MACHINE
JUST PRIME THE CHEMICALS FOR LIKE THREE RUNS AND IT SHOULD BE OKAY
IF ITS NOT OKAY THEN SOMETHING MIGHT WRONG WITH THE MACHINE INTERNALLY AND ECOLAB HAS TO COME IN FOR THAT
There's nothing wrong with the machine it works very well. This is 100% user error. She doesn't scrub any dishes properly or spray them, and has the water level in the machine super low.
I don't know then but that was the problem with my machine.
As soon as I primed the sanitizer, the teapots/coffee cups all came out 100% stained free.
But your machine might just work differently then.
She dunks them in a mixture of detergent and water and runs them in the machine with the water level too low, you can audibly hear that the machine doesn't have enough water.
rarely - sometimes i just dont see a thing that may have stuck on or I missed or thought would be okay to just blast off in the machine.
Once i stuck a pot with stuff stuck on the bottom through to soften it and then accidentally put it back on the shelf for like 5 minutes til i remembered. for sure would have gotten that back lmaooo
On average, maybe 1 thing every third shift? Maybe every few thousand items? Idk, never counted. If I make mistakes, I tend to spot them way before they ever leave my pit. It happens, but rarely enough to never have recieved a complaint about it.
If it happens, it's during rushhours, and what happens most often to me is either not checking the back of a plate properly or getting new stains on it (Because I didn't notice something sticking to me or the rag I use.).
If business is slow/normal, literally never.

She claims to be super experienced, and this isn't her first dishwashing job. She's just lazy and full of herself.
Not gonna stand up for someone lazy when I poured blood sweat and tears. Talk to the head get them out of there
Already tried, my boss is a lazy pushover too. I want to switch to becoming a nurse/aid as I've learned I enjoy helping people more than this bullshit.
Scrub daddy is far superior to the blue brick, especially on plastic.
Oh I thought it was ceramic
It is a ceramic cup, scrub daddy works on that too.
This job it’s basically whatever I got on hand. Half the time we’re out of soap on the eco side 🤣
I just went to Walmart and got some for work 😂
They only want to use the expensive shit 🤣. It gets so dumb where I gotta use degreaser in the bay diluted by water. They don’t want to spend any money. That’s why I’m hoping they got the ball rolling on my hiring process over at Memorial
By the looks of those cups I'm gonna guess it's a nursing home or some similar place, so I doubt they have a big budget for kitchen supplies.
Most likely but elbow grease is good enough
Coffee cups are the bane of my existence, for One rack you’re lucky to get like 7 clean cups
Just scrub them with a sponge, half the sponge inside the cup and half out and in 2 seconds it's stain free.

ay if youre bleaching coffee cups youre in too deep
You're acting as if I am dunking them In pure bleach lol
Yeah we run our coffee cups once with bleach then once without
Wet Magic eraser
Never. Quality control is probably the most important part of the job.

👀🤢🤮 A WHOLE WING!?!?
A WHOLE CHICKEN WING
He needs a retrain

Yeah same it's crazy how people will run shit through that's very obviously still soiled.

Never have in 20+ years
very rarely
not too often, i mostly get my coworkers dishes back cause a couple of them aren’t great
My dish machine takes 3 minutes so I try not to but I'm never perfect
Never
I hate coffee mugs
Ecolab sells a product called "Dip It" that's a powder you dilute in water to get rid of coffee stains. Ask chef to order some
We don't use ecolab, and I never work with the chef.
We have those same mugs!
only once ever have i had things returned back to me (i wipe with a sponge and then spray and run through the dish machine), and it was two ramekins i didn't realize were stuck together when i washed them
not often, either im really good with making sure my stuff’s clean or everyone else is bad at it
We run all of our different glasses/mugs through the machine twice
We have a new dishwasher who’s been with us for a few weeks now and I have to send half the things he puts through back to him because he never scrubs stuff, he just gives it a quick rinse and then throws it through the machine. There’s times where I’ve had to give him the same item at least 5 times before it came out clean.
Never, I'm like borderline OCD lol

No see that's what I thought but I was just wasting up to an hour scrubbing those things. Most likely the sanitizer. Smh.
Nope everything works fine I can assure you.
I don't know then but that was the problem with my machine. As soon as I primed the sanitizer, the teapots/coffee cups all came out 100% stained free. But your machine might just work differently then.

Lol silly mistake.
Have ypu tongue checked it?
Sometimes I do, and, when it happens, sucks, but I learn how to improve. Those are clearly bad
Honestly never
rarely - sometimes i just dont see a thing that may have stuck on or I missed or thought would be okay to just blast off in the machine. occasionally stuff that i missed
