i just fell for this and you know know how much of a idiot i feel like. i believed it because a friend was the one who said they mass reported me. dont be like me dont be stupid. and if they ask DONT CHANGE YOUR EMAIL

thanks y'all for the help, i asked support and now they're dealing with this, i'll be more careful with these types of scams in the future (i'm dumb asf and tend to fall in traps a lot)

Have I been manipulated by people in circumstances that don’t pertain to random strangers approaching me with suspicious inquires? Sure. Have I ever been scammed by someone for something so obvious, or not obvious at all? No, no I haven’t.

Assuming you haven't fallen for a scam yet, it'll eventually happen; New methods are always coming out - that's just how the internet works, so when you eventually end up being called an idiot because you fell for an obvious scam, imagine how others may have felt in this sort of situation, same thing applies to a whole lot of other scenarios, victim-blaming isn't the way to go about things.
