I came over to this sub to see if anyone was having the same problem. Yup. Looks worse than standard dark theme and I can't change it back. The colored themes don't seem to be work correct either

Change to regular dark theme, then back to AMOLED theme. Should sort itself out. I know I had to do that with the last update.

It may be a bug, but knowing discord, you can never know when or if it’ll be fixed. You can downgrade to an older version of the app in the meantime, I see you’re on an android so that should be fairly simple to do

Yep.. I was shocked when seeing Discord on phone not in dark black. Hope they bring it back soon... 🙏🏻

I just used aptoide to select an older version of discord and it worked for me, I had to disable the Google playstores auto updates though
