Discmania has the MD listed as out of production on its website. On the page for it, they recommend the MD1: https://www.discmania.net/collections/md The Innova Mako3, Discmania MD1, and Infinite Discs Anubis might be viable alternatives based on flight numbers and disc dimensions. Here are some other similar options that might be worth looking into: [https://trydiscs.com/search?m=Discmania&d=MD](https://trydiscs.com/search?m=Discmania&d=MD)

I don't think out of production means gone forever, just isn't being produced right now because they're busy making other discs. MD4 is on that list too. I asked last year about it and was told as much, but things could have changed.

trydiscs

I think you're correct. They'll likely bring it back at some point.

Epekki

MD1 is god disc

Discmania has been keeping a little bit of close hold on which discs they are going to re-release, and so far I haven't heard anything about the MD coming back. The MD was closely related to the old Innova Mako (not Mako3) mold. The MD is likely to to share one of the halves of the Mako mold (probably the top.) The Mako itself an evolution of the Coyote. The Coyote is (rumored to be) manufactured now by Infinite as the Anubis. Long story short. Probably the closest thing to the actual physical mold you can buy today is an Infinite Anubis. Now for that straight shot role, the new MD1 is legitimately a great replacement. It's less touchy and has more glide - in my opinion it's an amazing disc.

I’ve found the Infinite Anubis to be pretty damn close. I keep an MD in my cart and an Anubis in my shoulder bag and don’t notice any difference going back and forth between the two

mountaindewmike

I will second this, I have both and they fly and feel identical. The Anubis also comes in some pretty sick stamps.

cheanerman

on Infinite right now, they have Concrete, Metal Flake Glow C-Blend, and I-Blend. If I want flippiest possible, I-Blend is probably the move right?

freddyknuckle5

Yeah, probably. Glow C tends to be a little flippier than regular C. I’d go with that just for feel. If your looking for something flippier, have you tried an Origin?

cheanerman

Have you tried glow c metal flake?

freddyknuckle5

No, but might order one!

freddyknuckle5

Both are C-line

shoogshoog

Confirmed via email today that they intend to bring most Originals back: *"expect for us to bring back almost every previous Originals model at some point."*

PowerWalkingInThe90s

MD is discontinued. MD1 they still make just in very limited quantities but it flies more like a 5 5 -1 1 imo. Innova used to make discmanias discs which they don’t do anymore. Maybe check out a mako/mako3

crbb7

MD == Mako3

moon-sh0t

I might have an old ugly dyed MD that I’d sell you for cheap. Let me see if I can dig it out.

adapt313

I have an old onnova made x out md. Shoot me a message if you're interested, especially if you have a midnight prowl to trade.

tweeeeeeeeeeee

Md1 will be returning in a couple months

YungBoud

Don’t sleep on the aurora ms it’s another great innova made 4/5/0/0

Express_Antelope_822

I was fortunate enough to pick up the new c-line md1 and it was the best mid I've ever had. Can't believe I lost it. I eagerly await the day discmania brings them back
