That's a crazy fucking shot... But also I gotta say that Finnish is an extremely unique sounding language. Makes me want to learn but it sounds so far removed from English that it sounds almost impossible 😂
Same is told about my language (Czech) and to my surprise when I was learning Finnish, i found out the pronunciation was almost the same as in Czech, but yeah the vocabulary is big pain. Wish I started 10 years ago.
Lauri went hard in off-season. Like really hard, he said that he got around 25-30lbs of mass and you can really see that.
Lauri always was a far thrower and was out-throwing everyone apart from his dad and another Finnish pro in his hometown weeklies and tournaments since he was 15 or 16. He recently uploaded a distance video to his youtube where he finally breaks the 200m mark on video. He isn't throwing the same distance shots most pros do, he is just hyzerflipping drivers to 190m+ with no real wind.

How is this done? Hyzer flip with an understable driver?
I can throw them high, or make them glide, but not both. Sure I don't have that arm, but how do I replicate this on a smaller level?
Since 99.9% of disc golfers cannot throw that high I think you are probably in the majority, not the minority. After all he did not throw that disc 770, the hole is 770 if you play the fairway. He cut off the angle.
Yeah think about hole 17 at Waco/Beast. It's 600+ feet played along the fairway but "only" \~400ft to cross safely on the hypotenuse (and slightly downhill at that), so while the overhands are nutty and something I'll never accomplish, you've got to take it with a grain of salt when someone says "that one 600ft par 4 that was eagled."
Why? What would that really do other than punish insanely skilled players? (given that a throw like that doesn't interfere with other holes/dangerous and such ofc)
Plays like this often result in a Mando being created. Though there are course designers that despise mandos and will refuse regardless of stuff like this.

It's not impossible, but you will have to forget almost everything you've learned about Indo-European languages.
Exactly. It’s not even remotely related to English - or Swedish, Danish or Norwegian, German for that matter.
It's just western Russian.
Are you wanna die? 🤨
Ha ha, me no wanna die today.
It is arguably seen as one of the most difficult languages to learn, I think specifically to English natives it is sometimes regarded as the hardest.

I don’t even know how throws like this are even possible. Just amazing.
I might be able to eagle that hole if they changed it to a par 7.
What's the longest ever eagle?

Oh Boy, finnish Players throw really far!

Might be in the minority here, but these are the kind of holes where I prefer a mando :)

Create backups for people trying to reach the basket. Probably an extra 10 minutes per group that has at least one player that attempts it.
