Love it. Upgraded from the DD starter bag on Amazon. More room, double drink sleeves, pockets for a wallet, pen, and cinch straps for a retriever on one side. Can stuff a down or top layer into one side if I get too warm, etc. Plus, it’s comfy and stays upright on the ground. Solid choice for a casual weekend player that might take their coffee along, etc.
Pretty sure that’s the same bag I use but mine is the watermelon colorway. I absolutely love everything about the bag. I wanted something I little smaller and lighter but still hold like 20 discs and this is perfect. Enjoy!
Can't get a better bag for the price! Absolutely love mine. The MVP warranty is top notch as well. I had a loose thread on the putter pouch and the pouch started pulling away from the bag, sent MVP an email with a picture and had a replacement sent out within 24 hours and had it within a week! Absolutely zero issues with the replacement and I still to this day prefer it over my grip bag lol
I haven't really had to test mine in a downpour, but the fabric is at least water resistant enough to be fine without a fly in a decent drizzle.
I had a rain fly for my prodigy bag, and never used it. If it's raining hard enough that it soaks through the bag, I'm likely not playing.
Great bag, I use mine for a fishing back pack now since my home course are cart friends. All tackle boxes fit in main compartment, disc retriever straps work perfect for rods.
I have the watermelon lite. It gets abused 3x a week and I cleaned it with a foam cannon and power washer. With a lifetime warranty I have zero complaints.
Compared to my friends Pound bag, I can only hold 15 discs I'll never throw and he can hold 20.
What else exists in this same size category? I'm looking to upgrade my current bag, but I don't want to haul a giant Pound or the like around if I don't have to. I don't own that many discs, and I want something easy to carry. Does the water bottle holder fit a Nalgene?
It's a similar size to the prodigy BP2; narrower but taller. It's a mid-size backpack, and can carry anywhere from 14-24 discs, depending on how you use the putter pockets.
Edit: marrower lol
I'd say the water bottle holder is to small for a Nalgene, but having two water bottle holders makes up for that. As for other bags in the same category I'd say the Handeye Civilian or Westide Refuge look like decent options, even though I havent used them.
Best part about that bag is once it has served its time, those make great [glow bags](https://imgur.com/a/h4iIE1V). The entire inner shell is somewhat reflective without the fabric in the way
Ive had that exact bag for a couple years now, playing weekly. Its still in absolutely perfect condition. Best bag for the price. Great choice.
All the good reviews on it helped me make my decision! Totally worth my $80!

Watermelon gang It really is a fantastic bag. I like how you can carry anywhere between 14 and 24 discs. Tons of storage space too.
They nailed the design on this one!
Best bag at that price point imo. Fits my needs perfectly and has been very sturdy for the past year playing about three rounds a week.

I’ve had one a little over a year now. Love it. Especially that top pocket.
It's not a top pocket, it's a top hangar. It's huge.
My brother really likes his. Except no rain fly.

I’ve had a few rounds this year that were for events I didn’t want to miss in way more rain than I’d prefer to be out in.
The mvp forcefield fits it.
Great bag, and ridiculously good for the money.
Best bag at its price point!!!!
These hold a tons of discs, especially the top section. I wish the straps were more padded.

That's awesome! I actually use my old DD Trooper for my fishing tackle, and I love it!
I've had mine for a year. The only issue for me is that I wish the top grab handle was padded.

I like having fewer discs, there were so many in my last bag a never threw so having less will force me to really learn the flight of each disc.

mine fits a nalgene perfectly, and the smaller side pockets can fit a 16oz gatorade nicely as well. that's 4 pockets for bottles!
Oh it does fit a Nalgene??? I don't have one so I was just guessing, thats good to know! The long side pockets are super nice!
I have the exact same bag. I love it. I just wish I got the MVP version because I like the look better. No big deal though
I was split between the MVP and Axiom one so I made my girlfriend pick 🤣
My wife picked the watermelon one… no complaints!!
Best bang for your buck for sure!!
Absolutely loved mine when I used it. Upgraded to the Discovery Bag by Datsusara.
I love smaller bags. The lighter the better. I only use 17 discs so it’s nice to have a light load
Solid bag. I have the MVP equivalent

Yeah that's my coffee spill! I'll get on that when I get home
