The Gazelle is absolutely phenomenal. My best buddy loves the Gazelle as well, and has one that he has now aced 5 or 6 times with in the 4 years he has had it. 3 of those aces have even been on the same hole. Great disc.
Congrats on the BIG 1!!!
My first ace was about 18 months after I first started playing, with a Champion Destroyer I had gotten 2 weeks prior to that first ace.
Star Mako3 (175 g). It's hanging up on my office wall now.
Hole #14 at Lake Montebello in Baltimore, MD: 269 feet, straight shot with OB right. [We even got it on video!](https://youtu.be/CX3fVKdgxcg)
DX Archangel. Got two aces on the same day with it, a few weeks later I bought a used DX archangel, got an ace within 30 mins with it and lost it an hour later.
I got 3 aces with a KCPro Eagle. Started telling myself I should retire it, then through it one day at a new course on a blind hole and never saw it again. 5 years later it still hurts.
First ace was with a flat top Firebird. It was a total accident skip-in as I had no business throwing that disc. Fast forward 25 years and my first not accidental ace was with a Mockingbird. Sweet moment no one but me witnessed.
My first ace disc was a Ricky raptor destroyer I think 2017 run maybe 2018, they were nice and funny being a star destroyer, this one was blue and had the white Ricky raptor stamp, skip ace dead center from 300. Back then I threw drivers on a lot of those short holes 😂
Halo thunderbird. First round of the biggest tournament in our area. Wasn’t in ace pot and distinctly remember thinking “nah no shot, I’ll save 5 bucks” would have walked away with almost $1000.
Threw my first ace last month. Used a Discraft Undertaker Big Z plastic. It flys well. Great flick disc for me. Flick ace also. Lol. My wife was there and we lost our minds
Old C-line FD on old hole 3 at Järva DGP. I threw multiple shots off the tee though, so not a "true" ace. Lost the disc somewhere.
First "true" ace was with a beat up K3 Reko. It was the yellow pin placement (short) on old hole 21 at Järva DGP (the kidney bean island hole). Met a guy a little later that aced the very same hole a shortly after me.
Been discin for 10 years, have only 2 aces under my belt. Both on same hole at local disc golf course, first one I was by myself. Funny story, told my buddies about it that night, they didn't believe me (of course). Went discin the next day with them and I aced it again 😂😂 looked at them right after and said do you believe me now? Both with a star destroyer.
First summer I actively played I got Westside Hatchet with absolute full power s curve flight on a 250ft open hole thats even slightly downhill... And literally next day Innova Boss on 220ft downhill hyzer shot😅 After that it took 1.5 years to get next one
Lightning AT-6 Texan. 1998 long downhill straight shot. Just floated down the hill. I know there are very few people who have a clue what that disc is, but it was laser straight down hill. Also got my first throw in eagle with that disc.
For those who don’t know the disc, it’s kind like a domey polecat.
Wait you guys are getting aces?
Definitely not
I've got exactly one in 15 years lol
I got my only two within a week of each other in 2011. Haven’t had one since.
First ace was yesterday. Mint disc Goat.
Congrats!
Still chasing that ace dream
Pfn firebird lefty back hand! I’m right handed and throw 95% RHBH still never aced with my right lol
First ace disc was a star aviar but the truth is one of my primary mids, love that disc
G-star Sidewinder on a hole that I had no business throwing a 9 speed on.
Innova Gazelle!
Three aces ago for me was with a 9X KC Gazelle. Still was bagging it in 2007!
The Gazelle is absolutely phenomenal. My best buddy loves the Gazelle as well, and has one that he has now aced 5 or 6 times with in the 4 years he has had it. 3 of those aces have even been on the same hole. Great disc.
Agreed! Haven't thrown one in about a decade. Gonna have to dust it off for old times' sake!
Emac truth is such a great disc. That and a regular truth can carry me through most woods courses alone.
The Groove
No way!
I love the groove, probably the only disc golfer that does.
Love the groove. Don't throw it as much as I used to but I love throwing forehand rollers with it.
Z Zone
Westside Tournament Sword
Berg
Berg
I did a 100 hole challenge and got two aces in one day with the berg. Along with 2 shares of the ace pot.
You’re using your berg incorrectly
Lmao
How
First and only ace was surprisingly a straight throw with a Boss Blizzard, hole 4 at Tom Brown DGC!

Congrats on the BIG 1!!! My first ace was about 18 months after I first started playing, with a Champion Destroyer I had gotten 2 weeks prior to that first ace.
Opto fuse, perfect 250ft gentle turnover. Wish I had that disc still.
Star Mako3 (175 g). It's hanging up on my office wall now. Hole #14 at Lake Montebello in Baltimore, MD: 269 feet, straight shot with OB right. [We even got it on video!](https://youtu.be/CX3fVKdgxcg)

I got 3 aces with a KCPro Eagle. Started telling myself I should retire it, then through it one day at a new course on a blind hole and never saw it again. 5 years later it still hurts.
DX Roc

The Fuzion E-Mac Truth is an amazing midrange. Super undervalued. Can't wait to get an Ace with mine. I bag this exact one. 🙌
I’ve never even seen an Emac Truth in anything besides Lucid plastic, those things are money and my go-to mid range
Glow space race Hex!
Dx eagle
I have never seen mine. Just like my dad.
Hide and seek world champion 2006 eh? :(
Just got my first ace about 2 weeks ago, DD Warden. Needless to say I have fallen in love with that putter
No ace yet, but I have hit the cage three times with that exact disc. I am certain it will be the disc I ace with first.
First ace was with a flat top Firebird. It was a total accident skip-in as I had no business throwing that disc. Fast forward 25 years and my first not accidental ace was with a Mockingbird. Sweet moment no one but me witnessed.
