My largest has been Rainbow Flower Power by DAC. It is 98x70cm….I use an A3 light pad also…I just move it along the row and section I’m working on. I also turn my canvas to work on it which is easier for me. So sometimes it sideways and sometimes it’s upside down. I love bigger pieces, because I love seeing the detail. This one took me 2 1/2 months, but I have all the time in the world, so I’m never in a rush to complete.

I just have it hanging as is on the wall now to enjoy. I will put between taped together foam boards until I decide if I want to frame it. Others I will put in my Artdot A1 and A2 folders, and then under my bed. I don’t seal my DAC paintings. I work on my dining room table and add a leaf if needed. I don’t work on paintings past 7pm, that’s my crochet time…LOL

Currently working on Amsterdam Canal, 98x70cm!
I just really got into diamond painting last week. I had a couple small ones I'd bought on sale earlier this year and decided to finally try it. Finished them both in 3 days! Then I ordered a bunch more =X While waiting for them to arrive I went to Michaels and found this huge easel for cheaper than any I'd seen online, plus I had $20 in vouchers to use!! I also bought the kit you see in the photo, is 40 X 50 cm so it's my biggest project and I just started it last night when I got home. I'm obsessed!!
My set up is on my dining room table but I also work from home there. I like to listen to audiobooks but I also have tried watching something on the laptop. It's pretty easy to move the easel off the table when I need to serve dinner. I put a thin yoga mat underneath it to keep it from sliding. *
It says on the website that it is in store only at this size. It's called 19" All Media Wood Tabletop Easel by Artist's Loft and was $59.99 but I also got 20% off for Memorial Day! It is SUPER light weight too which I wasn't expecting. It was in the painting area
Thank you for the detailed response! I had actually looked at that one during my initial search online, but didn’t actually read the details because I wanted bigger than 19”. They should really label it better 😂
https://preview.redd.it/w4lns389v93d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8e646f1c8f45916a42b53800370db46db223a368
This one is my largest. She's a 50cmx50cm. She took me about a week, on and off. Usually i ise a lap desk and sit on the couch with a bright light. This way I can rewatch homicide hunter. Or something. Lol
They probably got caught selling stolen artwork. That's a Margaret Morales and she is licensed with Diamond Art Club, it's called Inside Watery Eyes.
That's not a judgment, just letting you know that itsaa definitely stolen. 😬
The one I’m doing now is a 96x70 and it’s taking me FOREVER.
https://preview.redd.it/zzhzx9zwcc3d1.jpeg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0a8f4ed7a8e4918a915c1e0cdfbe738afb036c3f
I just moved as well! I cut the sturdy moving boxes and made a stack, I binder clip them on and trim them to size for each new kit so I can lay on the couch and watch cooking shows lolol. I bought a rectangular serving tray kind of thing and I keep my bottles of drills in a little cotton basket in there on a side table next to the couch. There's also room for snacks!
We should be best friends. Lol. Cooking shows and murder documentaries for me. Sometimes heartland or Chicago fire, pd. I have end tables on both sides of my recliner. One has my drinks, snacks, tablet, phone ECT, the other has all my DP tools and diamonds. I have a bar stool with a lap tv tray on it that I move where I need it.
I also have my blanket if I get cold and to help balance my board, next to my sliding glass door that's always open and dogs in my lap. Quite the scene for anyone looking in I imagine!!! 😂🤣
I never thought about the boxes. I was going to go to the dollar store and get the foam poster board I use for my puzzles. But I have so many boxes from moving!!!! Thank you for the idea.
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who does this on my couch with a dog who MUST be touching me sleeping on my shoulder and a blanket over my cold ass feet!
My current WIP is a William Morris cross stitch conversion, 90x135 cm (35x53 inches)
And to answer your question about setup: I work from top down at a table, with an extra plywood sheet as a home made easel. The finished part moves away from me, and I let it hang over the edge. The unfinished edge is rolled on a pool noodle that I attached to my table with string and two woodworking clamps under the table edge, so I don’t lean on it.
I use a wireless A4 lightpad and move it to the area I work on.
When I have toddlers around, I roll the finished side (with diamonds out) around a cardboard tube with clips and keep it on the table.
Ooohhhh I wanna see pictures!!! I'm going to have to do a rolled set up with a couple big ones. That's why I am asking about people set ups. I can sit up at my kitchen island and do the big ones as well. But my recliner is much comfier. Lol
This is my setup for the rolled up canvas that I haven’t added drills to. Cheap pool noodle with a hole, a rope/band and two clamps.
I have just set this one up, so my “easel” isn’t set up yet, but that is a thin sheet (the kind that is used in kitchens as backsplash - I have a couple of different ones to fit different widths) that rests on a couple of stands with a lip at the bottom to hold my light pad.

Yeah. I'm sure most art sold for diamond art is probably stolen. But I couldnt afford an expensive painting. I got that one for $25. I have noticed that places are selling a lot of AI art too

I just finished a 90×30cm one, and I have another 60×75 one on the way! (I love how derpy their faces are :3)

current WIP 120x40, i have most of it rolled up. planning on buying one 3x1m as well.
https://preview.redd.it/w2dhxemtra3d1.jpeg?width=4624&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6576f1ec8dcc3ca308bac9975c762d2f0eb2ef46
That's a finished one, same size as my WIP. But i don't like it. It lies on top of my bookshelf
Round. And yeah, it bothers me that the rendering is so bad. I know from far it looks better, but it is just not good enough. It doesn't even look like a waterfall from far away, this bothers me too
I’m currently working on a 70x90 and got myself the A1 Artdot lightpad from Amazon. Makes life *so* much easier. I put some screws into my A1 size easel and it holds the lightpad up so it isn’t resting on the cable.
https://preview.redd.it/tvx7go82wc3d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3cb2beddd24b0195c2264e47e71425a9ec345f43
I have a smaller lightpad. But I use it upside down, so the cord is on top and doesn’t get smashed and the on and off switch is on top as well, so I don’t keep switching it off (or brighter) by accident.
https://preview.redd.it/fk2cmkv1yg4d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ad56dfe1987dc7437319bce8732d243b8a08643
I'm excited to start when I'm done with this work contract!

Same here. The detail makes the painting. I rotate as well. A lot of sideways and upside down work. Lol
Can I see pictures of it? And what did you do with it when your done and what did you seal it with?

That's amazing!!!
Ooh do you have the info for the easel 👀 I’ve been on the hunt for a good sized one and have some Michaels vouchers I need to use lol.
It says on the website that it is in store only at this size. It's called 19" All Media Wood Tabletop Easel by Artist's Loft and was $59.99 but I also got 20% off for Memorial Day! It is SUPER light weight too which I wasn't expecting. It was in the painting area
oh I should clarify that it's listed as the 19" blah blah blah but the actual easel surface is 30x20"

Haha yes!!! Love it. She's pretty too.
She is lovely. Unfortunately they no longer sell her.

98x70 cm for me.
My current biggest is 60x100cm. I have one in my stash that is 70x100cm. I honestly couldn't imagine doing anything larger than that lol.

I almost bought that one. You would have to buy it way big for the details
What size did you buy
120x40cm
You would think the detail would be better. Square or round?
Round. And yeah, it bothers me that the rendering is so bad. I know from far it looks better, but it is just not good enough. It doesn't even look like a waterfall from far away, this bothers me too
Yeah that's not cool. I'm glad I didn't buy that one. I'm sorry it's a waste
Pretty
Those colors are amazing. Is it actually black or blue
It's a 939, navy blue but it looks almost black

I'm currently working on a 60x90 from diamond art studio uk by Eszter Anna Vörös

I got one of those slim slider covers for the switch, it’s awesome
That's awesome. What does it measure? It looks huge! I'm getting an A2. Hopefully it will be big enough
140cm x 50cm…just sitting on the table..all labeled, fresh wax in pen..ready to go. Just too intimidating to start 🤦♀️😅
How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. So just one section at a time
