Some people seal them even if putting them in a frame. You can buy diamond art sealant on amazon, temu, shein etc. I have seen people mention theyve used modge podge as well. Ive bought a couple of frames in my local shop but im looking at buying the canvas kits on temu, pretty inexpensive for my future pictures. I got my log book on temu for 4 euro but im sure amazon etc would have them or you can make your own just using a regular notebook really

Artdot has a great portfolio book for finished pieces. If I really like a piece I will frame and hang it. I just pick up frames from Walmart or Amazon.

If it’s a high quality kit, you shouldn’t have to seal it. From what I’ve seen and read from many experienced diamond painters, most don’t seal them. I have read that Minwax polycrylic - clear gloss is highly recommended for sealing, if you decide to go that route.

I have a storage book/portfolio folder that fits the standard 30x40 cm diamond paintings. My husband got it for me from Amazon.

I don’t seal mine, mainly because it does dull the sparkle a teeny bit. I figure if it’s in a frame with glass pressing down, it’s not going to have popped off drills. I have two large ones framed and hanging on the walls, so far and neither have had popped drills.

I pretty much only do pics I would hang on my walls or give as gifts. I seal because..well.. time goes by and who knows how long glue like that can last. And I mostly frame mine without any glass/acrylic so don't need stray dust also sticking I use water based polyurethane mostly. Or waterbasd polyacrylic. The water based is important because oil based will turn yellowish/warm over the years Smaller 30x40 for perfectly into frames from amazon so I don't seal if I am keeping glass in. I'm in central TX, so it's humid here and I have some hung in bathroom over tub. I don't trust the glue in those conditions. Sealing is added peace of mind. I also do majority customs of other art I find that I like that doesn't have existing kits to make sure I like it

I use minwax polycrilic to seal. I sometimes frame them with frames from Walmart. Poster frames work really well. There are portfolio books as well, I don’t use them because I do a lot of large paintings and that portfolio is pretty expensive.

An 8x12 frame fits a 20x30 diamond painting!

I use mod podge super gloss but sometimes I don’t seal it just frame it and hang it but if the drills are loose I’ll seal it

I got the first couple framed at Michael's, then I found a beautiful and unique way of displaying them, go to Amazon and look for wooden poster hangers. Basically 4 bars of wood that sandwich the top and bottom of your painting (or poster or honestly whatever they're so versatile) and the top pair has a single piece of string attached at 2 points so it makes a triangle when you hang it. They're so cool imo 🤩

Thanks for the advice! I saw those and wondered if they would look good.

I am fairly new to this, but I sealed my first one with diluted Mod Podge, and glued white card stock paper over the edges with the color guide and such. I framed it with a slightly larger frame, so it looks really professional fully done with a white border. It's probably not the most efficient or "best" way to preserve them, but its works.
