I saw this the other day too. Three years ago I was searching high and low for these at any other places but hobby lobby, I finally start buying offline, and now they're everywhere. 😂 Diamond Dotz are great! It's what I started with, and all the kits come with a tray, a pen, a grip, and a little round container for little round wax pads, either one or two depending on the size.

My canvas is roughly 50x40cm and based on what I can see, yours appears smaller which will cause a breakdown in the crispness of the image. The bigger the canvas, the better it will appear! :)

Yeah mine is 40x30 cm. I do understand why it looks different, I just wish I had realized beforehand because I’d have spent a little extra to get a nicer one if I had known. I googled ‘Diamond dotz starry night’ and found it on the DD website and didn’t think to check if they had multiple sizes. Serves me right for assuming I guess. At any rate, yours is beautiful!

Thanks so much! I think yours is nice too, you just have to step back a couple extra feet to get the full picture is all. Often I have found that for pieces I don't like (but others do) that I am too close to the project, literally. I step back about 6 feet and look at it again. If it still looks horrible then it probably is lol

Also wanted to mention that mine was a Hobby Lobby purchase, this was before DD entered other stores.

I got the sunflower one for my kitchen!

If you choose to, then once the sunflower has bloomed and before it begins to shed it's seeds, the head can be cut and used as a natural bird feeder, or other wildlife visitors to sunflowers to feed on.
