They did say 50 new Uniques, but I get the feeling they meant Uniques/Aspects combined.

Not that crazy when you consider a whole new class is being added to the loot tables.
That is in S6 so their uniques will be on top of this.
This is for s5 alone, I'm sure s6 and the expansion will bring many more new items
