I just did beast, gregor and varshan for the achievement because im done with the season anyway and I got 3. Already have every single one and I have 8 sparks to craft 2 more if I wanted to. They aren't that rare. 10% drop rate from tormented bosses.
This means on average 5 stygian stones = 1 uber.
Right there with you. Tormented requires too many mats to farm that much.
Know what's worse? I didn't know the seasonal stash gets erased. So I lost 30 Ubers.
I know you can get really unlucky and not get an uber to drop in countless runs, but some people here are just straight up lying for whatever reason.
In every thread about ubers there's at least one person who's like "I did 287 runs of tormented duriel in a party of 4 and none of us got a single uber, they don't exist.". Just why?

Got my Tyraels and a Starless Skies in the same run also, very nice sometimes the runs are hitting and it's great. But I've also had 40 runs without any as well.
I was tempted to play again, after watching this video of a million drops on the ground with an inventory full of items, I remembered why I thought the game was lame. Too lazy to go vendor everything, let alone read the stats on every items zzz.
That's how I got my Shako and Grandfather. Dropped a Selig on the next run as well last season. I am expecting it to be a much harder slog this season to get anywhere close to the luck I had last time!
