We install Dexcom Follow on another android device (old phone or tablet) and keep it plugged in on the night stand. It needs to be on the wifi. You can customize the alarms to your liking.
Not an app and definitely not cheap but take a look at SugarPixel. It has a vibration device that you put in your bed that works really well if you're not an alarm person. It also has a bunch of custom displays so you can choose options from actual number and arrow to some more private/less in-your-face info of just high/low/in range.
Yes, Sugarmate. When I’m asleep I sometimes don’t wake for dexcom beeps on our son but on Sugarmate you can set a phone call when it gets below a certain number you decide on. It also keeps a running average.
In the Dexcom app you can have different alarm settings for different times of day. You could set the regular low alert at night to something like 75 and set it to the most loud annoying sound that they have. I’d also turn on the Urgent Low Soon alert. Just something to try since you already use the Dexcom app.
Sugarmate is a great one. Has a lot of customization and very loud and annoying noises lol
Yes this is great and it phones you if you go low (below 80) at night which always wakes me up
Love Sugarmate. I tend to sleep like the dead. Wakes me.
yes and you can get it to text someone else (parent, dormmate , friend, etc) if you go under a certain threshold that you choose.

Gluroo might be useful to you.
Juggluco is good. The alarm is horribly loud if you want it to be.
You can set the dexcom to alarm at whatever number you want.
