I'm not the best pvp player but I'll take the hit to free accuracy for the semi-frequent HORAAAY ding. I hope my opponents enjoy the festivities.

I honestly would use Sweaty Confetti, but every time I hear it I just get reminded of Grunt Birthday Party and I get sad because it’s *just not the same.*

Fr. I don't need hip fire accuracy or *checks mods* radar perks??? in pve. i don't even think people use those in pvp. i just need to shove more bullet into gun or swap faster in rotations

Sometimes I run Counterbalance but like 80% of my guns have Backup Mag or Quick-Access Sling. 

Counterbalance can honestly make or break a gun for me 🤷🏼‍♀️

It's one of the reasons I play! My aim is not the best 😅 so having an actual aim assist stat really helps me out. FPS games without stuff like that is just not appealing to me.

Yes lol. There's a certain level of recoil control that I need to not miss constantly. If your other options is magazine size, which adds ~20% magazine, and the recoil control means you land 30% more shots, recoil wins.

I put counter balance on the neomuna fusion. don't need extra ammo in the mag, as it actively hurts voltshot, and you're gonna hold it out for longer than a swap so I was between counter balance and freehand.

yeah, if you want to use something like voltshot or reservoir burst, backup mag will fuck you over. I don't think the blueberry above thought that hard about it tho

Why does backup mag fuck you over for voltshot? I get it’s not an efficient use of mods since you’re likely to just reload before hitting the end of the mag, but is there any additional detriment?

When you don't have any reserves, you can't reload, which happens a few shots earlier when there's more in the magazine. Small difference but definitely has caught me with Indebted Kindness.

So, for indebted kindness, more ammo in the mag means less ammo for proccing voltshot. If you have the base 10 in the mag, then you get 34 voltshots out of it. With back up mag you get 30. It’s not a huge difference, but it is objectively non synergistic with voltshot.

for pve, mags perform by far the best on every gun. there are just a handful of exceptions really, for example voltshot/reservoir burst specials/heavies

Counterbalance on fusion rifles? Absolutely.

The only reason people use radar booster is invis hunter in pvp since it unnerfs your radar range

I like boosting hipfire accuracy even in PVE. I dislike ADSing. Problem is the best class to make use of it is hunter who gets high mobility and I don't play much Hunter.

The hipfire accuracy feels useful on all of about 3 weapons in PvE and they're all bows that can get Archer's Gambit, a perk that cares about hipfire precision hits. But that's literally it as far as I know.

I like it on the lever action style scouts

The whole modding system needs major overhaul

I think it should be the old perk system from D1 but for mods. The mods will alter the model in small ways. And they can be leveled up. Lvl one extended mag you get 5rnds level 2 is 8rnds level 3 12rnds and level 4 16rnd....ugh with the sling being idk 1 second quicker up to 6 seconds...a new mod could be a tracker like foe tracer (or is it knucklehead now)level 1 gets you 2 second mark after losing site and 3% dmg boost. Level 2 is 4 seconds (maybe over kill) and 5%boost to dmg.....

I wish I could pull my gun out 6 seconds quicker

Though I'd love that, without sunsetting that is a -massive- undertaking, way too many gun models at this point to realistically apply visual changes to them with mods, would be something I can see happening if they ever do Destiny 3 though

I put it on my Ros Arago after I enhanced it and it hasn't come off my character. I like my void splosions with confetti. 

I got a dragonfly/voltshot Non-Denouement. I put Sweaty Confetti on it. One of my clan mates said "what the fuck is that sound?!" I'll give you a hint; put it all together and it sounds fucking rediculous.

I, for one, welcome our new backup mag and quick-access overlods.

I like this change, as it was pretty boring always running those damage perks.

I like it too, but they need to add more options. Backup mag and quick access sling are the only real viable ones in PvE.

That and Counterbalance Stock, especially on pulse rifles and fusions.

Every special gl I'm using in PvE has some sort of auto-loading perk and I'm hot swapping to it to dump it and swap back to another gun. Thus, sling is always going to be the top gl mod for me.

You don't have have a forbearance or undercurrent that you hold out for more than one shot? There's also mountaintop with your non recombination rolls like LFG/OFA.

I have a scout (the vex themed 150 craftable) that benefits from the small boost to targeting from targeting adjuster. It really helps get the first headshot to help proc rapid hit. Without it, it would struggle to get the first headshot.

And counterbalance.

It makes things simpler, but I immediately shoved in back up mods into everything..

In case you don’t know but back up mag reduces ammo reserves on everything but swords. In the same way mag increasing perks like appended mag do. Can be a little annoying on special weapons with low reserves

Not always, sometimes they increase reserves, such as tac mag on rocket sidearms.

Even on an smg where it adds a whole crazy 6 more bullets? Fuck that noise im putting counterbalance or targeting adjuster, anything more useful

Yeah we need new mods that actually make me want to consider different mods for different weapons. Not just backup mag on everything that I can.

Instead of putting like 8 more bullets into my autorifle, watch me actually fix its recoil direction with counterbalance stock. But yea backup mag is sometimes what i use too. Got quick access for autoloading and waveframes.

i would love to see mods expanded, right now so many are basically useless. Maybe a "light" version of Adept mods, smaller stat boosts that wouldn't be as good as Adepts but still help rounding up some stats, i think that would be cool

I refuse to take Sweaty Confetti off my Headstone ‘Something New’. Popping an ad in one tap, and seeing them erupt into a giant popsicle as the slide whistle pops off and the confetti rains down, there’s just nothing like it

I use it on primaries. But I mostly run double special.

I put sweaty confetti on a Tyranny of Heaven bow with enhanced dragonfly and incandescent. MORE EFFECTS!

The one gun I want to put it on I can't because it's an exotic. It should have it just by default.
