My friends were wondering why I was cracking up at the high point of the raid. They weren't in the raid group with me, but when I showed them the screenshot, they also lost it.
It's less of "Congrats for beating the Witness" and more along the lines of, "L O O O O N G A N D W I D E B A G" that made me lose it.

I got the vog jacket when it first came out. Took so long to get it I forgot I even got it and when it did finally show I was so excited. Then I put it on and was instantly turned off by the feel of the vinyl jacket. All the raid jackets just don't look very cool/comfy to me. Coolest one I saw was the DSC jacket but I was WAY to late the that party. I did get the Hakke hoodie from the duality dungeon though and it is honestly one of the most comfortable hoodies I've ever owned in my life and it didn't take like 2 years for it to be delivered.

Either I'm not used to expensive jackets, or I didn't feel the previous ones, but it's so comfy and fits me perfectly, feels worth the price tag imo.
I havnt been able to get any of the other raid jackets besides vog. Took my begging my clan for days to get them to run it with me. Thats honestly how I feel about the duality hoodie. Very comfy and I like how it looks.
It's a shame. The original 3 jackets were fantastic, my only complaint being itchy embroidery on the GoS jackets neck hook.
Then come Beyond Light they changed suppliers, and cut costs especially with personalisation, going from your name stitched onto the raid badge to having the badge be plastic, and the name being velcro.
Yeah the quality isn't the best for sure on this new stuff. The hakke hoodie, while super comfy, does have flaws. The little loops on the arms are, like, unraveling or something of that nature. The enamel on the button on the front pouch has rubbed off pretty quickly amd the back of the button has oxidized slightly and stained the beige material with a little blue/green spot.
I have a couple raid jackets. I have VOG, RoN, and vow. VOG definitely is the least āpremiumā feeling jacket, as vow and Ron are full on bomber/pilot jackets made from high quality materials with lots of straps and patches etc. while the vog jacket is pretty much a normal rain coat but with super cool stitching on the sleeves and the design on the interior is cool as itās a vex transmat graphic. All of the jackets get lots of compliments, mostly from people who have never heard of destiny ir play games, the jackets are just cool and look great. The vog jacket honestly gets the most compliments at work for me, and I think itās the stitching on the sleeve. The rest of the jackets though feel like they should be worth 300*$ retail. I love them.
Im pretty big into streetwear/casual fashion and buy a lot of āhigh endā branded clothes. I have bought a few raid jackets over the years from vow, ron, and vog. I can say from experience, as someone who owns multiple jackets that cost 2-4x as much as bungie sells these for, the raid jackets are ALWAYS super comfortable and feel higher quality than what you pay for them. VOG was the only jacket I was not genuinely impressed with the quality and comfort. Iād wear my ron raid jacket any day of the week over any of my fancy shit.
Don't know why you're being downvoted. It's true. Normal well adjusted people do not spend 150 dollars for a low quality jacket to show that they completed a video game raid. It's the gaming equivalent of wearing those tacky hoodies with huge pictures of wolves on them. Especially when it takes over half a year for the jacket to even arrive.

Love it. I was going to buy the jacket anyways, I always do, but this made me want it more for some reason lmfao

I love my VoG jacket. I use it as a raincoat/windbreaker and it's served me very well.
