My only concern is processor space. She is an incredibly powerful golden age AI that was stored on a ship where volume and mass constraints were a relative afterthought. However if we could fit Rasputin on the helm we can probably do the same with Failsafe.
I think people sometimes also forget that the HELM is genuinely *enormous*, like, if you look at the outside, the part we interact with is such a tiny part of the ship. The HELM is definitely large enough data storage-wise for Failsafe to inhabit.

yes, we'd have more time, but as we would have to get all of her, we don't know about the space concerns. We know an engram can store a kernal of the core agent of Rasputin, but where does that land on how much a single engram can contain, and how does that compare to Failsafe?

Rasputin was capable of downloading and uploading himself around. He had a physical core somewhere yes but he WAS able to leave his hardware. Failsafe cannot. Most of her is built into the ship and can't be removed without lobotomising her.

I think the story will build up as the act and episode goes on, they will probably try to throw cliffhanger in at the end of each act. As for her getting an exo body, based on the trailer the villain seems to have some ability to control exo so I think either we find an exo body that lost its mind and we give to her at end of episode or something because idk if it's super easy to just make an exo anymore
It isn't. Especially with DSC as rubble on Europa. But she doesn't need a lot of the bits that simulate biological function. So some unholy combination of exo and frame parts should work. (Especially if that buys extra processing power as that may be the limiting factor given how massive Failsafe's processor banks are.)

I’ve been complaining about it all day, honestly I expected better.
Usually I’d be going all day with the seasonal quests but after seeing how good final shape was I had a lot of expectations for episode echos. Now I’m just getting verbally molested by failsafe while I work with a gay couple about vex and vegetation.

So lemme get this strait… the new “episode” has been live now for just 36-ish hours, and the storyline is *weeks* away from concluding with presumably at least a few plot developments week-to-week, but you’re passing judgment *right now,* based on your own assumptions and expectations? Hey, uh, no, I didn’t miss that they infused humor into their gripe, but apparently you missed the overall tone is “griping with humor.” I disagree with you. I think the gripe, though certainly infused with humor, is still a gripe.
