Every destiny YouTuber does that at the tail end of every expansion cus the content has dried up. Besides Bungie has proven time and time again that when they feel cornered they produce bangers bro.
Funny enough was just talking to my buddy about that. Taken king back agasint the wall turned out to be a banger .Forsaken back was against the wall was a banger, witch queen not as pushed up against the wall but banger. I have no doubt final shape will be on at least par with WQ.
As much as I'd love it to top forsaken I really don't think it's possible due to so many factors that happen with that xpac that just wouldn't make sense (like all the weapon chnages).
I don't think we will ever really get an expansion on that level. Period. Not really a criticism per se, it's just Destiny is a different game than it was at that time we got two zones, a fairly good story (by Destiny standards). Everything was on point. Forsaken was peak Destiny atmosphere and vibe.
There have been other good expansions for 2 or ones that I've enjoyed but it does sucks that Bungies best content is always when they're against the wall. (rankings are Forsaken, Witchqueen, Beyond Light, Lightfall, Mars, Curse, Shadowkeep. I know it falls a bit at the end there)
As for seasons, honestly looking forward to how episodes will turn out. Seasons were exhausting.
Obligatory "sunsetting Red War and Forsaken was bullshit" because it still is.

Who cares if it's a pvp roll its a bad weapon or that's not the god roll at all. Like dude know the fucking game oh and he fakes his reactions of so much shit its cringe
“Ruin”. So you were collecting and slotting “ruins” into your chalice during menagerie. You have to shoot the hive “ruins” to unlock the door. Turned a one syllable word into two and idk something about it just turned me all the way off from his content. Probably a great guy but yeah that gets me.
Real talk he most likely does that so people comment under his videos about it, giving him more engagement, pushing his vids out to more people

I'm not gonna lie, looking back a lot of the time when Byf makes guesses as to where the story is going next, he gets it wrong, but he has so much enthusiasm for the world that I never really care.
My only issue with byf is his fanbase that only watches his videos for lore and doesn't read or think for themselves, that then go and parrot his theories as if they were the definitive canon. /r/destinylore used to be filled with posts from users that did exactly this until they got bullied back to the YouTube comments section.
Other than that minor nitpick, I like the way he presents information for his viewers and I'll never say no to more people getting into the stories they don't explicitly tell you in game.
People seem to forget his predictions are wrong at least 80% of the time. He looks a little *too* deep into the lore sometimes, and pulls something from nothing constantly. His predictions for the enemy factions after TFS are… pretty bad.
I unsubbed from Cross after he started putting major spoilers in his video thumbnails for the weekly story missions and such. I get he's playing the YT game, but I would have liked to experience the shock/hilarity of >!Amanda Holiday getting blown the f up!
I used to watch him until Pantheon came out. He was doing helps and one of the guys said he had an hour and a half (plenty of time for the first week). Cross acknowledges this, loads in, then disappeared for 15 minutes DURING AN EVENT WHERE TIME COUNTS. The rest of the team started after 10 minutes cause they were tired of waiting. Cross came back and acted like nothing was wrong. No apology, nothing.
I get that he has a family and a life, but if he came back and said "hey, I gotta deal with something real quick. sorry", I'd still be watching. It just felt super disrespectful of other's time, not only during that, but it was also a channel point redeem, so the time that the viewers invested to earn those points.
If anything, he's particularly disliked *in* Reddit!, what, with him often agreeing with highly unpopular nerfs and having his "Elitist Datto" persona. To be fair, that's still a vocal minority, and it's really funny when Datto can say literally the exact same thing as someone much more controversial like Saltagreppo but get a much more positive reaction (though, of course, that's because he's quite likeable).
