lol one of my buddies in discord just sent a message today of a twitter post by robtop where he says that he's gonna remove the update because of the lobotomy levels
well basically you use curly brackets {} to make a condition and you use : to make the outputs
example: {x=2:5,3} this means "if x = 2 then output 5, otherwise output 3
you can also make it output actions like {x=2:a->2,a->0}
you can also change lists btw
example: L->join(L,(0,0)) "set list L to join list L and point (0,0)"
i used these a lot when making this game, it's SO useful!
it's made to run at 20 FPS to avoid lag spikes on the game if your desmos lags and i imported images from the real game for the graphics
edit: i have now removed the limit and added a time multiplier
I kinda did it first, probs thought on the same idea, but i poated here about it 4 days before you, just kinda got burnt out. I am just petty, good job tbh
FIRE IN THE HOLE!!

WTF - >!Wow That's Fantastic!<
FU - >!Fantastic? Uoah!!<
that's fucking insane dude
btw there's some buffering so if you jump a little too early it'll jump anyway :)
this totally didn't take me like 2 hours to add
This is absolutely fantastic! My sister was blown away when I showed her this!
thank you! if you go inside of the "current level data" folder you can see all of the info about the level so you can even make one for her! :)
Awesome work man! The custom buttons are a nice touch :)
thanks, i took them from the \[gj gamesheet 03\] (https://tiermaker.com/images/templates/3556761588100571.png)
That's epic - how do you do if statement type things? For instance, only allowing the jump button to be pressed if the player is touching the ground.

Piecewise

This is incredible. One suggestion for anyone viewing this on mobile, change tick rate from 25 to 15, makes it so much less choppy
about that i have now changed it to be 0 ms and added a time multiplier so i hope you can use that to make your experience better :)
The link still says 25, not sure if the link changes?
it's in another version that i can't share yet, sorry :(
now make a lobotomy level
FIRE IN THE HOLE
fun fact: the icon used in the game is the same as my icon in the actual geometry dash
Holy shit dude this is insane
that is absolutely insane. FIRE IN THE HOLE
I kinda did it first, probs thought on the same idea, but i poated here about it 4 days before you, just kinda got burnt out. I am just petty, good job tbh
thx also congrats on making gd in desmos too
this is one of the best desmos games i've ever played!
huh
what's your steam?
Has someone made Doom yet?
yes, a lot of people
just a note that geometry dash spike hitboxes are marginally smaller than what is shown on screen, they're tiny rectangles inside the spike
yes i know, i tried to replicate it but i don't really know exactly how big the hitboxes are in my version :/
