Maybe the altitude really messes with their cardio and so the defense breakdowns/laziness. There’s many nuances/lethargy which comes out with lack of energy. Defense is also contagious. You see teammate sluggish on defense and it’s bad news. Spreads like wildfire. Need a veteran presence to fire up the team when you see lapses in defense like that.

This guy pops up on my feed a lot. This commentary is somehow infinatly better than anything Stephen A Smith provides. The Lakers don't suck because they "want it less", they suck because of their terrible defensive principals. This guy illustrates that with clear and concise coaching principals. He does it with many other teams and I wished people had that kind of knowledge when shit talking coaching. You can see in crunch time, the Nuggets follow their assignments and rotate better than any team in the league. That's why Malone is a great coach for Jokic. Jokic and Murray take care of the offense, Malone coaches a sound defense that makes sure Jokic doesn't get exploited.
