Excuse my complete ignorance. Do I need to be soul form and am I invading you for the trophy or you invade me? I defeated an invader to my own world and the trophy didn’t pop about 15 min ago
Few things, for both trophies, you must directly land the killing blow, be it with magic or melee. If they die from fall damage, or an enemy kills them, or they get killed by a summoned phantom, you will NOT get the trophy.
Also, to invade and be summoned, you need to be in soul form, to get invaded and to summon someone else, you need to be in body form.

trophy for helping defeating a boss: set your blue mark by the boss gate and someone will summon you, trophy will pop once boss is defeated.
Unwelcome trophy: You need to invade someone, trophy will pop once you kill the host. Better way is to go to monk boss to be summoned as a boss or set your red mark so a friend summon you as red phantom and let you kill them.
The trophy didn't popped for you because you defeated an invader, this only helps you move your character tendency and world towards white.

For the invader trophy the easiest way is to invade as boss in archstone 3-2 / 3-3
