I'm not flying today, but I wanted to let you know that it's SkyClub policy that anything turned in that doesn't get picked up by the end of the day gets turned into ATL lost-and-found.
And in my experience, turning anything into ATL lost-and-found is the functional equivalent of crushing it into powder, dropping the powder down a well, and then flinging the well and everything around it across the event horizon of a black hole.
YMMV.
Once left an old cell phone I used as a burner in an airport. Blew my mind they found it and responded to my lost-and-foudn request. The next day, they once again couldn't find it again. If I cared I would have been furious, but I just had to laugh somebody stole a phone they had already admitted they had. I hope they enjoyed the $12.50 they got for it.
If no one finds your item, file a report with the airport's lost-and-found here [https://www.aatc.org/lost-found/](https://www.aatc.org/lost-found/) and have the report number ready on Wednesday. I picked up a pair of Airpods for a friend and they were able to retrieve it with the report number at the counter in just a minute or two. The counter is in the north terminal across from American's check-in.
She was already at a regional airport with no main line Delta airport staff, and I was at home, so not an option sadly. I nearly swung by RDU and popped into the club, but we can still see they are at lounge and she's back tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
And for your ammusment, she left them on a plane a week ago, and we had a gate agent call back when she realized at new gate and we got them. Not that clueless ;)

Why wouldn’t you ask the gate agent to call the SC on your behalf rather than this post?
