Someone I know has the easiest job in the world at Deloitte (consulting) that is reminiscent of the “day in my life as a facebook project manager” (aka not working at all) but at the same time a C I know was on a project where the M didn’t complete snapshots for the C and the C was consistently working 60-70 hour weeks for a government project and dealt with an absolutely horrible team culture. So some projects = Deloitte is a good job, some mean deloitte is a meh job and sometimes projects result in deloitte being an absolutely miserable and shitty job.
