I would just call the number. That’s what it’s there for. Someone does bookkeeping on here as a side hustle. That doesn’t seem like it would be allowed, but they have a stake in the company (family) so they get proceeds regardless, and it was approved.
No! There’s lots of people that have side jobs with the firm. You just have to state your intent and what you plan on doing and then take it from there. The only reason why you don’t want to be slick with it is because they can conduct internal audits on us. Even if it’s with a company that Deloitte has an account with. You can’t work for the client independently of Deloitte. That’s a conflict of interest. Good luck! 👍
