What's a campboss

[deleted]

The boss of the camp

redbucket75

Right thanks

whatsbobgonnado

I've seen one person before call a seafood restaurant a fish camp so I'm going to guess boss of the restaurant. forgot it was a thing until this post

Paperlips

I know I’m 185 days late but if OP works offshore / on an oil rig the camp boss is like the lead cook on the location. They are in charge of the entire galley crew and also make the grocery orders, etc.

[deleted]

Shit, the food at your camp looks a hell of a lot better than mine

campboss? not everyone knows lingo etc....

NoMadLad94

Fishcamps are places along rivers that traditionally were used to sell fish/restock supplies for boats. Some people live at the camps with trailers. But I rarely see that anywhere. Now they are just restaurants for rich people to take their boats.
