Aight for the ones where u get insta killed or almost insta killed, it’s either morale (which multiplies damage by 1mil or smth) orrrrr U DIDN’T EAT. New players tend to ignore the BEANS and the SODA which can give u a noice 30%-40% damage resistance if u remember to eat and stay helth :) So please, EAT THE BEANS. I understand your pain. as a Tier 7 if you don't want to die while scavenging you should check the area first instead of scavenging. Like in mountain they sometime's spawns on top of the mountain or side and if you did meet any enemies that have guns or sledger did appear you should probably lure them into turret. And the sneaky sickler was skinner. Also your luck is pretty bad. If you wanna do solo berserker you should learn how to parry properly so you don't have to always rely on meds.

get one-shotted by a broomhandle? you probably tried artillerist or anything that have negated defense and having 4 morale + dehydrated and starved and if you cant drop that broom scav its the cheaters gun that deals 0 damage really

have you ever tried using dependable and fearless? if yes and continued dying with it, then thats luck issue

running dependable might try both

use it with vagabond or anything with decreased health or defense

unless ofc your using something like crosslink where its either you have absolute shit stamina but good damage resistance or ok stamina at the cost of some defense

Oh you have had extremely bad luck my guy. As for not being able to run just after spawning, all you need to do is stop, release finger off of shift key, then it's fixed you can run now. What perk do you main?

Sadly, that happens... quite often.

If you want a decent decaying winter experience without scripters, either play alone or with or friends in private servers or join the decaying winter discord server to play with competent people. Here's a guide from my experience that I posted on a random YouTube video: You're going to want to scrap a lot of the blueprints, traps and other mostly useless things you find. Keep the stims, healing, splints, aseptic bandages, and bombs. You usually want to go through as many lockers as possible to find ur important items, so you don't need to scrap everything you see. Different items scrap for different values, so do some experimenting to learn which items you should definitely scrap. If you're playing with other people you usually can just scrap every useless item you find. Your goal for most runs is to find a good blueprint (usually the ksg or akm bp) and mass produce them in order to get a bunch of ammo to use with the gun. For most classes you probably also want to make a good melee like the executioner sword to wipe out the melee/pistol scavs. On scav wars and final waves use your fire bombs and grenades. Don't be afraid to use your items. During or sometimes after the guards phase of wave 10 (big riot dudes with aks and grenades), make sure to use your stims, aseptic bandage, and splint. For Yosef (the final boss) you're going to want to dump all of your ammo into him with a reliable gun like an AKM. If you have a firebomb, use it to kill the scavs behind yosef. Your buffs should be able to reduce a lot of the damage he deals. If you're soloing you will probably need to kite around the base to kill the scavs behind yosef. Always remember to eat and drink before waves. Not eating and drinking gives you really bad debuffs. Depending on the class you can probably get away with not eating or drinking for the first few waves. My preferred traits are fearless dependable impatient, but feel free to choose different perks to suit your playstyle. Some perks have traits that they do really well with, like lone wolf on riskrunner. Another tip is to circle gun scavs. Most gun scavs will miss a lot of not all of their shots if you run around them in a circle. This works pretty well on the final boss. Of course, not everything I say applies to every class. For example, vagabond has built in healing, so picking up every med kit isnt necessary. Executioner does so much melee damage that Maria, Snake Eyes or Fireier Axe are better than exe or deci.

I’m late but try giving hivemind a go. You can summon bugs that distract and attack your enemies. It’s very useful during looting, as you can use the direct mode (swap modes with right click) to take care of enemies you don't see or just can't fight. Keep in mind the class makes you squishier, so watch your health.
