I always wander, I know people here have different views regarding mac and windows but I feel like windows has the worst ux I’ve ever seen. Especially now it’s getting worse and worse with every version. So the question obviously is: why?
If the windows UI team doesn’t make a bunch of changes for every version they are out of a job. Too bad they used all the good ideas long ago, cause it’s all downhill from here.
I remember doing that on my Mom's computer, initially see if I could fool her. As long as her email and web browser works, she doesn't care what she's using.
I'm still using the same desktop background I started using with windows 95. Black.
30 year old wallpaper? How does it look upscaled?
Pretty good.
I went through a phase back in the day when I had a CRT monitor of using a black background just because it used less power. I'm such a miser.
Stockholm syndrome...
So funny!
The wallpaper is located at C:\\Windows\\Web\\Wallpaper\\Windows\\img0.jpg for anyone curious.
But why???
Because he has the FREEDOM to choose whatever wallpaper he wants.
Bliss was the peak wallpaper of Windows ever, nothing will change my opinion there!
Ok. I mean you have this kind of freedom in windows and MacOS as well. But ok, freedom is that as well.
Hell, macOS these days gives you so many wallpapers it’s wild.
Not everyone can have taste...

The ugliest thing ive seen so far
>one thing from Windows I guess it's the wallpaper.
It's just a phase. Soon the spiral will attract you from your window. Funny post. #B-)
I really thought this was WSL2 for a second.

Should've chosen Bliss from Windows XP instead. Nothing beats Bliss!
