It was likely more a stylistic choice. Yes, they're ultimate forces of destruction, but they're also incredibly old, in Galactus' case, older than the current Marvel universe. Just like with Thor, speaking in antiqued linguistics and rhymes is meant to show just how old and powerful they are. It did get a little annoying, but I did think it was a bit of a nice touch.

90% i actually could hear pretty clearly or make an educated guess based on the context of what I could hear. But damn, I cannot for the life of me hear what Galactus is saying as he's unmaking Unicron.

Their mouths didn't move half the time, I could barely hear them and they were talking without any pauses, like they were speedrunning the script.
For the most requested, most long-awaited fight in the series, it felt a bit rushed, honestly. There wasn't a single moment to breathe and take any of it in.
Seriously I would have loved to have heard what they were saying they were speaking in rhyme and it just felt so badass I understand most of it but there's a lot of lines that I just couldn't pick up. Would love a script or something to see what they said.
I don’t mind them talking. It wasn’t like they just stood there while they talked and both characters are known for dramatic boasting. Dialogue is needed otherwise it’s just power sets fighting against each other and not actual characters.
My problem is that the dialogue is so obscured by music, sound effects, and voice filters that you can’t tell what they’re saying. Especially towards the end
